Warframe’s newest expansion, Isleweaver, is now live, bringing players back to the mysterious world of Duviri. Released on June 25, 2025, as part of Update 39, this update adds a new game mode, story mission, boss fight, Warframe, and a wide range of improvements to how the game plays—especially for new players.

This guide walks you through everything Isleweaver has to offer, from new enemies and mechanics to event rewards and what’s changed for longtime and first-time Tenno alike.
A New Spiral in Duviri: Triumph of Dust
Isleweaver introduces a new mission type set in Scholar’s Landing, a floating isle in the Duviri region. The mission follows a six-part Spiral structure, similar to the Lone Story mode. But this time, you control a Warframe—not the Drifter—from start to finish.
The story centers around Major Neci Rusalka, a powerful Murmur leader causing chaos in Duviri. Dominus Thrax, no longer in control, now turns to the Warframes to take back the region. The mission ends in a high-stakes boss battle against a deadly new Warframe gone rogue: Oraxia.
Each Spiral cycle gives you a random selection of Warframes and weapons through Teshin’s Cave, keeping every run unique. You’ll battle new enemies like the Unseeing Herald, Shuffling Fragment, Rupturing Fragment, and The Severed Warden, collect loot from Entrati breakables, and face shifting mission objectives every time.
Oraxia: Warframe #61 and a Dangerous New Boss
Oraxia is both a boss and a playable Warframe. This spider-themed predator uses poison, stealth, and webs to trap enemies. In her boss fight, she climbs walls, spawns spiderlings, and shifts into a second phase by merging with a Fragmented clone, sharing a single health bar.
Once unlocked, you can craft and equip:
- Spinnerex – a whip-style melee weapon
- Scyotid – a throwable secondary weapon
- Thalys – a powerful Incarnon heavy scythe with evolving traits and shard mechanics
To get Oraxia and her gear, collect Temporal Dust from Unseeing Heralds, Fragmented enemies, and Duviri containers. You’ll also need Scuttler Husks, which can be traded through Acrithis or Dominus Thrax in the Dormizone.
Operation: Eight Claw – Time-Limited Clan Event
Running from June 25 to July 16, Operation: Eight Claw is a special clan-based event linked to Isleweaver. Players must complete mission Spirals to push back the Murmur threat and help the Warframe cause.
As players complete objectives, they unlock clan and community milestones, including:
- Invictus Signa, a rare cosmetic reward
- Arcanes and evolving cosmetics
- Thalys Incarnon blueprints
Even after the event ends, rewards are still claimable until July 23, and the Isleweaver node will remain playable permanently for ongoing story and resource farming.
Valkyr Rework and Better Combat Mechanics
Valkyr got a full rework in this update. Her new Rage-based passive now works better with damage resistance and healing. Her Hysteria skill has updated animations, expanded melee combos, and smoother energy drain interactions.
Also, slam attacks across all Warframes were improved. The slam radius now scales with fall height, so high jumps deal more damage and allow for tactical crowd control. This makes melee combat feel more fluid and satisfying.
New Mods, Cosmetics, and Build Options
Update 39 adds more tools for customizing your playstyle:
- New Augments for Kullervo, Citrine, Caliban, and Jade
- Loadout slots increased to 30
- New cosmetics from TennoGen and in-game bundles:
- Oraxia Bundle (includes armor, skin, ephemera)
- Citrine Aphrodita Deluxe Skin
- 1999 Round Table Hair Pack for Operators
Quality of life upgrades also affect Helminth feeding UI, Captura mode, and Dojo decoration tools (like bulk NPC placement and funding).
Better Onboarding for New Players
This expansion continues Warframe’s focus on improving the experience for new players:
- Junction tasks now give rewards for each completed objective instead of all-or-nothing progress
- Clear UI shows all tasks and rewards before you start a mission
- Captain Vor, the first boss, now has new animations and updated behaviors to make his intro fight more dynamic
These changes, first introduced in the Yareli Prime update, aim to make Warframe more welcoming without taking away its depth.
Stay After the Event – It’s All Still Playable
Even after Operation: Eight Claw ends, the Isleweaver Spiral remains part of the game. You can still access Scholar’s Landing, replay the story, fight Oraxia, and keep farming for her gear and resources.
To access this content, make sure you’ve completed “The Hex” quest, which unlocks the Isleweaver node.
Isleweaver is a strong step forward for Warframe in 2025. It adds a new Warframe, improved gameplay systems, and a rewarding event that engages both solo and clan players. Whether you’re returning or new to the game, there’s plenty here to dive into.
Pick your Warframe, enter the Spiral, and help reclaim Duviri from the Murmur threat—one mission at a time.
