ARC Raiders has always been built around a clear vision: a tense third-person extraction shooter where awareness, positioning, and survival matter more than raw reflexes. That design choice defines how players scout danger, manage fights, and escape hostile zones.

But over the weekend, that foundation briefly shifted. Players discovered a way to force ARC Raiders into a first-person perspective—and even though it was never meant to be accessible, the short-lived experiment completely changed how the game felt.

Is an Official First-Person Mode Likely?

Right now, there’s no indication that Embark Studios plans to add a first-person mode. Supporting it properly would require new animations, combat tuning, balance adjustments, and possibly separate matchmaking rules.

That said, the community response shows genuine curiosity rather than simple novelty. Players didn’t just test the mode—they reflected on how it changed tension, fear, and immersion.
