The Alloyed Collective expansion adds a new gameplay modifier called the Artifact of Prestige, and unlocking it works just like the older artifacts: you’ll need to find its code in a specific stage, enter it into the Compound Generator on Stage 5, and then clear the Bullwork Ambry challenge. This guide walks through every step clearly so you can grab the artifact without confusion.
What the Artifact of Prestige Does
The Artifact of Prestige forces at least one Shrine of the Mountain to spawn on every stage, and the effect stacks permanently. Every teleporter event becomes tougher, but the loot payout grows with it. It’s a high-risk modifier for players who enjoy intense, reward-heavy runs.
Step 1 — Find the Artifact Code on Stage 3
To begin, you need the artifact code hidden in the new Iron Allovvium stage, which always appears as Stage 3 in the expansion’s progression.
Here’s how to locate it:
- Move toward the back section of the map, where you’ll come across a cave-like area.
- Inside, look for climbable platforms and ledges. You’ll need some mobility or careful jumps to reach the upper section.
- At the top, you’ll find the stone slab that displays the artifact pattern.
Artifact of Prestige Code
You can skip the hunt if you already know the combination:
Triangle – Circle – Circle
Square – Circle – Triangle
Circle – Circle – Square
(Or in the in-game visual format: pyramid • sphere • sphere / cube • sphere • pyramid / sphere • sphere • cube.)
This is the pattern you’ll enter later at the Compound Generator.
Step 2 — Reach the Compound Generator on Stage 5
Continue progressing normally through teleporter stages until you reach Stage 5, which will be one of the following:
- Sky Meadow
- Helminth Hatchery
Both variants contain the same activation device:
Where to Find the Generator
- Sky Meadow: Drop below the main landmass. The device sits on the lower platform beneath the central area.
- Helminth Hatchery: Head toward the upper portions of the stage; the generator is placed along the elevated paths.
How the Device Works
The Compound Generator looks like a laptop connected to nine nodes arranged in a 3×3 grid.
Each node cycles through Square → Circle → Triangle.
Input the Artifact of Prestige pattern exactly as shown in the correct order. When all nine nodes match the sequence, interact with the laptop.
If done correctly, a red Artifact Portal appears.
Step 3 — Enter the Bullwork Ambry
Stepping through the portal sends you into the Bullwork Ambry, the same special arena used for all Artifact trials.
Here’s what to do:
- Grab the Artifact Keys dropped by enemies.
- Bring each key to the central Reliquary to trigger a wave.
- Beat the boss enemies that spawn.
- Repeat the process until the Reliquary breaks open.
- Collect the Artifact of Prestige to finish the Trial of Prestige challenge.
Once you pick it up, the artifact is permanently unlocked for future runs.

The Artifact of Prestige is one of the more rewarding additions to the Alloyed Collective update.
