ASUS, the Taiwanese tech giant, has released an official teaser for its upcoming gaming smartphone series, the ROG Phone 8. The teaser reveals some of the design and features of the new phone, which is expected to launch in early 2024.

The ROG Phone 8 series will be the eighth installment in the ROG Phone series, which is known for its unique console-inspired design, powerful performance, and immersive gaming features. The teaser shows a new back design featuring a pentagon-shaped camera island with three (3) camera sensors and an LED flash. The camera island is located on the top left corner of the phone, next to a circular power button and a USB-C port.

The specifications of the ROG Phone series have already leaked on Geekbench, such as ROG Phone 8 Ultimate with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and 24GB RAM, offering improved performance and efficiency over its predecessor. The phone also received certification for 65W charging from China’s 3C agency.
