Aviation Security Officer Functions and Responsibilities

  • Confirming the flight’s arrival time from OCC or System (Navitaire).
  • Take the bay number from Apron and provide it to all of the R.T. stations.
  • Make a note of the touchdown and chocks and send it to R.T.
  • Make sure the ramp is appropriately aligned
  • Make sure there are enough coaches available to deplane the passengers and make sure luggage arrives before the passengers.
  • Checking the cleanliness and getting boarding permission from the cabin staff, then broadcasting it on R.T.
  • Checking to load is done according to the Load and Trim staff’s Loading Instruction Report.
