Battlefield 6 Beta Early Access

The Battlefield 6 Open Beta is divided into three phases: Early Access, First Weekend, and Second Weekend. While the First and Second Weekends are available to all players, Early Access is designed as an exclusive phase for a select group of fans.

Rather than being a completely “open” beta, EA uses this early testing period as a marketing tool and player incentive, giving certain participants the chance to experience the game two days before everyone else.

Who Gets to Play Early?

According to the official announcements and beta rollout details, only three groups of players were granted Early Access:

  1. EA Play Pro Members
    • Subscribers to EA’s premium service automatically receive Early Access.
    • This perk is part of EA’s strategy to boost subscriptions, as EA Play Pro also grants the $100 Phantom Edition of Battlefield 6 at launch, complete with exclusive cosmetics, XP boosts, and the Season 1 battle pass.
  2. Battlefield Labs Participants (Before July 31)
    • Players who joined the Battlefield Labs testing program prior to the official July 31 reveal automatically gained entry into Early Access.
    • No separate codes were required for these players.
  3. Twitch Stream Giveaway Recipients
    • During the July 31 Battlefield 6 reveal stream, select Twitch streamers distributed Early Access codes to their viewers.
    • This was EA’s way of driving community engagement and hype before the beta’s first weekend.

If you’re not part of these groups, the only remaining option to join Early Access is to subscribe to EA Play Pro before the early beta period begins. Some unused Twitch redemption codes may also work if obtained before August 7.

The Early Access phase is short but valuable for fans who want a head start:
