- Lay Down Soil: Use Fertile Veilwater Basin Dirt if available—it speeds up growth compared to standard soil.
- Add Water: Craft a Water Dispenser at a Workbench and use it to fill the carved trough. This creates a shallow waterbed—necessary for rice to thrive.
- Plant Rice Seedlings: Place the seedlings into the water-covered soil. Healthy seedlings will turn green shortly after planting. If they remain brown, it means the water coverage or soil isn’t right.
