Spire of Insight Location in Crimson Desert
The Spire of Insight is located in the Steel Mountains, southeast of Hernand. It stands out clearly once you reach the area because of its tall structure.
You do not need this location for the main story, but it offers useful rewards and unlocks new areas, so it is worth completing.
How to Enter Spire of Insight in Crimson Desert
Before solving any riddles, you must unlock the entrance.
- The door is blocked by thick vines
- Use Blinding Flash (Concentrated Light) to burn them
- You can also use a fire arrow if needed
Once the vines disappear, interact with the door to read the first riddle.
Riddle #1 (Entrance Puzzle)
Riddle Meaning: “Bones of the earth” refers to small stones or pebbles.
Solution:
- Pick up a Pebble near the entrance
- Place it in the bowl/basin on the door
The door opens immediately after placing it correctly.
First Floor Riddle Solution
You will see shelves, a central platform (Elevator), and a large book.
Riddle: “Traces left behind revive forgotten tales.”
Solution:
- Find the Gravestone (small glowing object)
- It is usually on a desk near the corner
- Place it into the golden chalice
The platform activates and lifts you to the next floor.

This floor is smaller but still packed with shelves.
Riddle: “Records of wisdom” and “tools for distant places.”

- Pick up the Pen Tip (inside a study room behind the platform)
- Pick up the Telescope (on a nearby table)
- Place both into the chalice
The lift activates again after placing both items.
Third Floor Riddle Solution (Final Puzzle)
The final floor has the hardest search because items are hidden among books.
Riddle: “The heavens, the earth, and time.”
Solution:
Find and place all three:
- Sundial
- Small Map Rotator
- Celestial object
All items are hidden between shelves. Take your time and scan carefully.
Once you place them in the chalice, the path to the top opens.
