In Die of Death, the Roblox asymmetrical horror game, three civilians fight to survive while one player takes the role of the Killer. Each Killer has unique skills, stats, and playstyles, making some more effective than others depending on the map and your strategy. This tier list ranks all available Killers so you know which ones are worth unlocking first and how to use them effectively.

How the Tier List Was Made
This ranking is based on:
- Effectiveness across maps – How well the Killer adapts to different environments.
- Difficulty to master – Some are beginner-friendly, while others demand map knowledge and prediction.
- Cost and accessibility – What you invest to unlock versus the payoff.
S Tier Killers
1. Pursuer
- Cost: Free
- Stats: Health 1000 | Stamina 110 | Sprint Speed 27
- Playstyle: Rushdown
The Pursuer is the starter Killer but also one of the strongest. With high speed and relentless chase potential, it pressures survivors right from the start. Its toolkit includes fast melee strikes, an AoE slow, and even an invisibility ultimate that reveals civilians’ positions. If you manage stamina carefully, Pursuer can dominate matches even at higher levels.
2. Killdroid
- Cost: 1000 Points
- Stats: Health 900 | Stamina 110 | Sprint Speed 24
- Playstyle: Zoner/Area Denial
Killdroid excels at controlling space. Its ranged attacks can pass through obstacles, and its Flight ability allows aerial positioning for devastating rocket attacks. Deployable killbots create deadly zones survivors must avoid. While it comes with a hefty cost, its versatility and range make it one of the best Killers in the game.
A Tier Killers
3. Badware
- Cost: 500 Points
- Stats: Health 1337 | Stamina 120 | Sprint Speed 23
- Playstyle: Snowballer/Trap Setup
Badware is slower than most Killers but makes up for it with placeable PCs that grant buffs and act as teleport anchors. Once set up, Badware can quickly reposition and punish unsuspecting survivors. Its power grows as the match progresses, making it a great choice for players who prefer a strategic setup style.
4. Artful
- Cost: 700 Points
- Stats: Health 680 | Stamina 90 | Sprint Speed 26
- Playstyle: Trapper/Control
Artful rewards smart placement and timing. It can create walls and music boxes to block or slow survivors, while its ultimate, Repurpose, turns these objects (or even a struck civilian) into reusable tools. Artful has one of the highest skill ceilings, thriving in the hands of players who know the maps inside out.
B Tier Killer
5. Harken
- Cost: 880 Points
- Stats: Health 400 | Stamina 114 | Sprint Speed 26
- Playstyle: Risk/Reward Specialist
Harken offers massive burst potential but suffers from low health, making it vulnerable. Its Noise mechanic fuels an Enraged state that increases movement speed but reduces stamina. The Immolate ability provides another speed boost at the cost of 25% HP. While devastating in the right hands, Harken is risky and punishing for beginners.
C Tier and Below
While a few community tier lists experiment with lower-ranked or unnamed Killers, in my own testing these options don’t add much to the core experience. The five Killers listed above truly define the roster at this stage of the game.
- Pursuer and Killdroid consistently proved the most reliable in matches, combining speed, pressure, and versatility.
- Artful and Badware rewarded careful setup and map knowledge, making them strong choices for players willing to invest time in their mechanics.
- Harken played like a high-risk, high-reward specialist — devastating when mastered, but punishing if misplayed.
From direct gameplay experience, these five stand out as the real backbone of Die of Death, with other Killers offering limited impact by comparison.
How to Become a Killer
In Die of Death, the Killer role isn’t random—it’s based on your Evilness stat.
- The player with the highest Evilness becomes the Killer in the next round.
- Survivors gain Evilness by taunting, stunning, or tricking the Killer.
- Once chosen as Killer, your Evilness resets to 1.
This system rewards bold survivor play while ensuring everyone eventually gets a shot at controlling the Killer.

Every Killer in Die of Death has a niche, but two clearly stand out:
- Pursuer is the perfect balance of accessibility and raw power.
- Killdroid is the most versatile and dangerous when mastered.
If you’re new, start with Pursuer to learn the ropes. As you earn points, aim to unlock Killdroid for a long-term powerhouse. Players seeking more strategic depth should try Badware or Artful, while thrill-seekers can test their limits with Harken. Play Now!
