- All Villagers will have Red, Green, and Purple Candy as their Favorite Things of the Day.
- Candy Bowls will respawn multiple times per day, instead of once daily.
- This makes October 31 the perfect day to finish any incomplete event duties or farm extra candy for crafting and gifting.

Players can also take part in Village Tasks tied to the event under the Dreamlight Menu. These include:
- Trick or Treat: Give 10 Villagers candy to earn the Mickey Mouse Pumpkin.
- A 3-Course Halloween Meal!: Eat all three candy colors to unlock the Green Trick-or-Treater’s Bounty.
- Villainy Wears Many Masks: Equip a mask to earn the Purple Trick-or-Treater’s Bounty.
- Stockpiling Pumpkins: Harvest 100 pumpkins to claim the Pumpkin Stack.
