Although none of the steps are hidden behind puzzles, you’ll progress only by playing as Undertaker, clearing expeditions, and triggering Remembrance chapters as her journal expands.

How Undertaker Remembrance Unlocks and Progresses
The Remembrance begins once Undertaker is unlocked and you have played expeditions as her. Your journal gradually reveals chapters each time you earn memory fragments or complete a Remembrance sequence. Expect to enter special dream-states of the Roundtable Hold, fight familiar NPCs, search for the Scholar, and eventually challenge the Night Aspect.

Chapter 3 – First Undertaker Remembrance
Starting Chapter 3 teleports you into a distorted Roundtable Hold. This Remembrance is combat-focused and plays out as a gauntlet of Nightfarers one room at a time.
1. Defeat the Iron Menial
He opens the encounter after dialogue, and once he falls, Remembrance fully begins.
2. Clear the Nightfarer Gauntlet
Fight order inside the Hold is fixed. Each opponent behaves aggressively, so pace abilities, avoid trading into parries, and lure one target out when two spawn together.

- Executor – Found outside the journal room
- Guardian + Recluse – Together near the main table
- Wylder – Near the Small Jar Bazaar
- Raider + Ironeye – Final chamber near Undertaker’s unlock altar
Winning all encounters triggers your return to the chapel.
3. Absorb Night’s Power
Interact with the marked wall inside the chapel to claim the Night’s essence. Afterwards, head outside to the garden to meet the Scholar. Exhaust his dialogue to conclude the Remembrance.

Chapter 5 – Scholar Search Remembrance
Another memory fragment unlocks Chapter 5. This time your goal is not fighting — it’s locating the Scholar within a Great Hollow shifting-earth Expedition.
How to Trigger the Phase
- Begin Remembrance at the Journal
- Offer prayer at the chapel
- Speak again with Iron Menial to receive the objective: Search for the Scholar
- Launch an Expedition while Great Hollow is active
Navigating to the Scholar (no kills required)
Inside the Great Hollow map, look for a red objective marker near the large castle in the northwest. Your path involves vertical traversal rather than direct combat:
Step-by-step route
- Reach the Spirit Spring west of the castle wall
- Launch upward onto the balcony
- Enter the doorway leading into the library with a hanging stone mass
- Climb onto the suspended rock
- Move across rafters
- Locate and enter the wall opening
- Interact with the Scholar encased in crystal to gain Primal Core
- Finish or fail the Expedition naturally (do NOT quit out mid-run)
Return to the Remembrance chapel to finalize this chapter.

Final Remembrance – Night Aspect and the Dismembered Finger
This is the step many players overlook. You must defeat Heolstor, the Nightlord in the Night Aspect Expedition as Undertaker. After the boss falls, an ending version of the Roundtable loads — this is where you finalize the Remembrance.
Critical Completion Action
Before touching the corpse, open inventory and drop the item called Dismembered Finger on the ground beside it. Undertaker will confirm with a voiced line, signaling the correct completion path. Only then should you interact with the corpse and end the sequence.
If you fail to drop the finger and end the expedition normally, you must redo the Night Aspect run to obtain the item again.
