The Summer Harvest was added in Update 1.11.2, which also introduced new pets, seeds, and seasonal tools.

How the Summer Harvest Event Works

The event begins every hour and lasts 10 minutes. During this time, players can donate Summer Fruits to a cart in the center of the map, next to an NPC named Georgia. The more fruits your server donates, the more points you earn as a group—and higher points mean better rewards.

You must be logged in and contribute at least one crop to receive any rewards. If you miss the start time or donate nothing, you won’t get anything at the end. To donate faster, talk to Georgia and choose “Take all of my Summer Fruits.” Just make sure to favorite any you want to keep first.

Georgia now lets you donate all at once, saving you time during the event window.

What Counts as a Summer Fruit?

Only specific fruits from the Summer Seed Shop or Summer Seed Packs count. Each one is worth a certain number of points based on rarity. Some fruits also come in Gold or Rainbow versions, which give bonus points.

Gold crops add +2 points, and Rainbow ones add +3. These bonuses work with all rarities.

Reward Tiers and Point Requirements

As your server donates crops, you’ll move through different reward tiers. The more points collected, the better the tier—and the better your chances of getting rare items.

Uncommon501 – 2,000

Divine11,001 – 14,000

Once time runs out, you’ll get a random item from the tier your server reached. It’s added to your inventory automatically.

Best Ways to Earn More Points

If you want to unlock the top tier every time, you’ll need a solid plan. These tips can help:

  • Grow the right crops: Fruits like Pineapple and Sugar Apple give more points.
  • Use good sprinklers: They boost your chances of getting Gold or Rainbow variants.
  • Fill your inventory early: Don’t waste time harvesting during the 10-minute event.
  • Use Georgia’s “Take all” option: This is faster than donating one-by-one.
  • Play on a private server: You can avoid griefers and coordinate with friends.

Solo players can still reach 14,000+ points by farming fast crops like Tomatoes with a clicker setup. Private servers make it easier to plan your donations and hit the highest tiers consistently.

The Summer Harvest is one of the most rewarding parts of Grow a Garden’s seasonal content. Whether you’re aiming for rare pets or just want better tools, this event gives everyone a fair shot at earning cool items. With smart farming and a bit of teamwork, you’ll be able to reach Prismatic tier and enjoy everything this sunny season has to offer.
