- Defeat the final boss Nipulon.
- Watch the ending sequence and credits.
After the final boss fight, the characters gather at Spaceforest Café, where the credits roll and the story concludes.
Although this ending wraps up the main plot, the game still allows players to return and finish remaining side activities afterward.
2. Good Secret Ending (Early Game Ending)
One of the most surprising endings happens very early in the story.
During the mission where you must rescue your sister Lizzie, the game expects you to defeat the bounty hunters surrounding her. Instead of saving her, you can choose a different action.
How to unlock the Good Ending
- Progress until the Find and Rescue Lizzie mission.
- Reach the Aviary building.
- Wait for the dialogue where bounty hunters surround Lizzie.
- Instead of attacking the bounty hunters, shoot Lizzie.
If you eliminate Lizzie successfully:
- The screen immediately cuts to black.
- The credits roll.
- The game shows a funeral scene.
- You unlock the Good Ending achievement.
After the credits, the game reloads the scene so you can continue the campaign normally.
This makes the ending more of a hidden joke than a permanent story branch.
3. Escape Room Secret Ending (Ankhs for the Memories Ending)
This is the most complex hidden ending in High on Life 2.
It requires finishing a series of optional escape room puzzles before the final mission.
Step 1: Complete the Escape Rooms
- Travel to Pinkline Harbor.
- Locate Twilly’s No Escape! escape room building.
- Complete all three puzzle rooms.
- Collect the Ankh keys from each puzzle.
These puzzles are simple logic challenges but must all be completed before the final mission.
Step 2: Sign the Newsletter
Before leaving the escape room facility:
- Walk to the front desk.
- Interact with the newsletter sign-up.
- Confirm the interaction.
This step is required to trigger the ending later.
Step 3: Trigger the Ending
After completing the main story:
- Return to the Spaceforest Café celebration.
- Near the entrance, look for an Ankh object on the floor.
- Interact with it.
This triggers a special sequence revealing that the entire adventure may have been part of a massive escape room experience.

3. Paperwork Ending (Hidden Joke Ending)
Another hidden ending comes from an unusual side activity.
Instead of defeating enemies with combat, the player can try to stop the villains through bureaucracy.
How to unlock the Paperwork Ending
- Visit the Bureau of Drug Control in Circuit Arcadia.
- Speak to the employee behind the desk.
- File a complaint against Rhea Pharma.
- Complete the paperwork process.
The sequence takes a while to finish and mainly exists as a humorous side story. It does not change the main campaign ending or grant a reward.
Many players skip this activity because it can take around 30 minutes to complete.
4. Post-Credits Ending
The easiest secret ending requires no special objectives.
Steps to unlock
- Finish the final mission and defeat Nipulon.
- When the credits start, do not skip them.
- Wait until the credits fully finish.
Afterward, you will see an additional scene where the characters continue celebrating at the Spaceforest Café. The scene includes humorous dialogue and hints about a potential sequel.
