iQOO appoints 23-year-old Shwetank from Kanpur as India’s first Chief Gaming Officer with Rs 10 Lakhs for 6 months

iQOO has announced the appointment of Shwetank Pandey as its first-ever Chief Gaming Officer (CGO) in India. Shwetank, a 23-year-old gamer from Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, was selected after a three-month-long nationwide hunt that saw over 60,000+ entries from gaming enthusiasts across the country.

Shwetank will work closely with the leadership team at iQOO and will share his gaming insights to build a complete smartphone package for gamers. He will also collaborate with top gamers across India and earn a remuneration of Rs 10 Lakhs.

Apart from the Chief Gaming Officer (CGO), iQOO has also appointed two zonal CGOs: Aojesh Shrivastava from Delhi and Battu Nikhil Reddy from Hyderabad. They will work directly with Shwetank and earn a compensation of Rs 2.5 lakh each. They will also assist in creating engaging content for iQOO’s social media platforms and online communities.

iQOO is expected to launch its latest flagship smartphone, the iQOO 9, in India soon. The iQOO 9 is rumored to have a Snapdragon 888+ chipset, a 120Hz AMOLED display, a 4500mAh battery with 120W fast charging support, and a 50MP triple rear camera setup.

The iQOO 9 will also have dedicated gaming modes, such as Monster Mode, Ultra Game Mode, and 4D Game Vibration, that will optimize the performance and immersion of the device while playing games.
