The changes aim to make Copilot feel more natural while expanding its creative capabilities as competition from Google Gemini and OpenAI’s ChatGPT intensifies.

Real Talk Brings More Human-Style Conversations to Copilot
Microsoft designed Real Talk to make Copilot respond more like a conversational partner rather than a rigid assistant. The mode adjusts response depth and writing style based on the direction of the discussion. Copilot also uses memory signals to maintain context across longer conversations, which helps deliver more relevant follow-ups.
Real Talk does not revive the early experimental personality once associated with Bing Chat. Microsoft keeps firm behavioral controls while allowing more flexible reasoning and conversational flow. The feature focuses on improving engagement without compromising safety or reliability.
Copilot Starts Testing AI Video Creation
Alongside Real Talk, Microsoft is experimenting with a “Create a video” option inside Copilot. Windows Latest discovered a toggle in the Copilot Android app that points toward short video generation capabilities. Most users cannot activate the feature yet, and access appears limited.
Microsoft has already demonstrated similar video generation inside Microsoft 365 Copilot’s Create experience. During a product walkthrough, presenters generated eight-second video clips using text prompts and stitched multiple clips together using Clipchamp. The workflow shows that Microsoft has integrated short-form video generation into its productivity tools.
The setup allows creators to draft prompts, generate short clips, refine scenes, and assemble sequences without leaving the Copilot environment.
Availability Remains Limited for Now
Microsoft has not confirmed a public rollout timeline for either feature. Access varies by platform, region, and account type. The video generation toggle does not appear functional for most Copilot users yet, and Real Talk is available across selected accounts.
Users should expect gradual visibility rather than an immediate global launch.
