Operation Ember Strike stands out as one of the most expansive missions in Battlefield 6’s campaign. It’s also home to some of the trickiest collectibles in the entire game — four hidden Dog Tags scattered across its vast valley. Whether you’re aiming for the “Damned If You Do” campaign achievement or the Pack Leader trophy for collecting all campaign items, this guide will help you find every collectible with ease.

1. Dog Tag #1 — Maruf Khorr (Pax Armata Infantry)
Objective: Locate the Old Fort – Explore the Valley Further
After completing the drone tutorial at the mission’s start, hop on your quad bike and follow the dirt road that leads east-northeast. You’ll come across a group of three ruined buildings down the valley. Head to the easternmost structure, the one that’s partially intact. Inside, by a window, you’ll find the first Dog Tag lying on the carpeted floor.
Tip: Use your drone to mark nearby patrols before entering; this area often spawns a few Pax guards.
2. Dog Tag #2 — Sorbon Vokhidov (Pax Armata Infantry)
Objective: Disable the SAM Network – Datalink Bravo
From the Old Fort, move toward Datalink Bravo, approximately 180–200 meters west of your previous location. You’ll see a Pax Armata outpost built around a large radio antenna. Look for a small building marked with graffiti of a goat — that’s your destination. Inside, the second Dog Tag rests on a green crate near a window.
Pro Tip: Clear out the radio tower first; the reinforcements triggered here can make it easy to overlook the collectible.
3. Dog Tag #3 — Sonia Lima (Pax Armata Special Operations)
Objective: Disable the SAM Network – Datalink Delta
After disabling the SAMs at Bravo and Charlie, a cutscene introduces a sniper ambush as you move toward the substation. Once you eliminate the sniper, don’t rush to check on Lopez yet. Instead, climb up the path toward the sniper’s nest overlooking the substation. On a green crate, you’ll spot the third Dog Tag belonging to Sonia Lima.
Bonus Challenge: Completing this sequence also contributes to the secret achievement “Being Watched,” awarded for spotting 20 enemies using your drone during this mission.
4. Dog Tag #4 — Sidi Konate (Pax Armata Infantry)
Objective: Take Out the Mobile AAAs – Reach the Top of the Dam
Push forward until you trigger the cutscene showing the massive dam. Afterward, you’ll be tasked with neutralizing the anti-air emplacements. Before heading up the ramp to the final objective, turn left toward a yellow forklift. The last Dog Tag sits on a gray crate beside it, near a cluster of quad bikes.
Caution: This area is heavily patrolled — take out the nearby enemies before looting the tag to avoid getting pinned in crossfire.
What Happens After Collecting All Dog Tags
Once you’ve collected all four Dog Tags in Operation Ember Strike, you’ll complete the challenge “Campaign – Operation Ember Strike.” This not only unlocks the Gridlock (NATO Character Skin) but also counts toward the overarching Pack Leader achievement, which requires collecting every Dog Tag in all nine campaign missions.
Players completing all collectibles across missions will also unlock additional rewards, including XP boosts and new customization options for multiplayer progression.
