In 1950 India has became Republic Of India free from British Empire and at the same time in 1949 china transformed into a single-party communist nation called  People’s Republic of China where both the nations looking to have place in the post World war II of 1950.

Both nations in 1953 agreed to sign the agreement named Panchsheel.

In 1953 both nations Leaders India’s first Prime minister Jawaharlal Nehru,and China first Premier Zhou Enlai met to define  relationship of two nations..Agreement then signed on April 24 1954 based on ideological principals but not on economical and cultural aspects..

Five Principles of Panchsheel 

1.Mutual Respect for each others
2.Mutual non-aggression..
3.Mutual non-Interference.
4.Equality and Cooperation
5.Peaceful Coexistence.

Impacts of Panchsheel Agreement :

Most of  the Colonies after World WarII has got independence and brought under the influence of Capitalist USA and Western Europe or Communist USSR which resulted to a Cold War. Panchsheel became source of inspiration among recently decolonized nations across Asia and Africa

China Prepared to Work With India : Once again in  9th Summit which was held on  Sep 2017 where both nations Leaders India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping declared “China is prepared to work with India based on Five Prinicpals of Panchsheel”
