Where to Find the Gas Can in Resident Evil Requiem
You get generator fuel from the gas station opposite Cedarbrook Apartments in East Raccoon City.
However, you cannot access it immediately.
Step 1: Progress Until You Unlock the Street Area
Before you can reach the gas station:
- Defeat the giant spider.
- Reach the BSAA camp.
- Get the Cedarbrook Apartments Key.
- Restore power in the underground parking garage using two batteries.
- Exit back onto the street.
Once you reach the street beyond the crater, you will see the locked gas station directly north.
Step 2: Enter the Gas Station
The front gate is locked. Do this instead:
- Look to the right side of the station.
- Shoot the yellow strap holding the folded ladder.
- Climb the ladder.
- Walk across the wreckage/scaffolding.
- Drop into the gas station forecourt.
Kill the zombie near the pumps, then enter the shop area.
At the back of the building, you will find:
- An empty generator
- An empty Gas Can sitting nearby
Pick up the Gas Can.
How to Refill the Gas Can in Resident Evil Requiem
As soon as you grab the Gas Can, prepare for a major fight.
Gas Station Ambush Tips
- A zombie throws an explosive barrel.
- Fire spreads across the forecourt.
- Multiple zombies attack at once.
- A chainsaw enemy joins the fight.
- Later, an armored chainsaw zombie appears.
Survival tips:
- Prioritize chainsaw enemies first.
- Shoot legs on armored enemies to stagger them.

After the fight:

Important: You only need to refill once. The fuel lasts for every required generator.

You will use fuel in three main locations:

Location: Inside the station near where you found the gas can.

2. Construction Site Generator
Location: West of the gas station.
Powering it:

3. Logistics Warehouse Rooftop Generator

After powering the final generator, the Gas Can automatically disappears from your inventory.
Should You Power the Bridge Generator?
Near the crater in the middle of the road, you can also power a generator that lowers a bridge. It is not mandatory, but it makes navigation across East Raccoon City much easier.
Use it if you want faster movement between zones.
