The Power Plant is one of the most iconic areas in this mini-season, and it’s covered in altered signage. Look along the main roadways leading in and out of the facility — you’ll notice several tampered signs nearby, including changed STOP and warning signs.
You can easily destroy multiple signs here before moving on.
2. Evergreen Terrace
Homer’s home turf is another hotspot for modified signs. Wander through the neighborhood streets of Evergreen Terrace, and you’ll spot various humorous alterations made by Homer. Since this area is compact and full of intersections, it’s one of the fastest ways to complete the quest without heavy travel.
How to Destroy the Signs
Destroying the signs is simple once you spot them:
- Equip your pickaxe.
- Walk up to a modified sign.
- Hit it with your pickaxe until it breaks.
Each destroyed sign will count toward your progress. You’ll need to destroy five in total to complete the quest. The good news is that both Springfield Nuclear Power Plant and Evergreen Terrace contain enough signs to finish the objective in a single visit.
Tips for Completing Homer Sign Quest
- Land directly at the Power Plant: It’s the most reliable location with multiple altered signs clustered together.
- Avoid early combat: Complete the challenge in Team Rumble or Zero Build modes where respawning is allowed.
- Use vehicles to travel between spots: Signs appear along main roads, so a quick drive can help you spot more in one match.
- Check near intersections: Homer’s modified signs tend to appear where multiple roads meet.
