Epic Games has officially confirmed that The Simpsons live event will take place on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 11 AM ET / 8 AM PT / 3 PM GMT.
Players should join a match early—around 30 to 40 minutes before the start time—to make sure they can enter the lobby and witness the event from the beginning. Matchmaking will temporarily disable roughly 40 minutes before the event as servers prepare for the transition.
Epic has even given the event a fitting title: “Welcome, Our Alien Overlords,” referencing The Simpsons’ recurring extraterrestrial duo, Kang and Kodos. The official teaser urges players to “drop in before 11 AM ET on November 1” or risk missing the spectacle.
What Happens During the Event
The event marks the official end of the Chapter 6 map, originally introduced in December 2024. Players can expect a chaotic finale packed with visual effects, scripted sequences, and plenty of nods to The Simpsons universe.
Dataminers such as HYPEX and ShiinaBR have revealed that this will be a full-scale cinematic event rather than a short transition. UFOs are rumored to return, along with a massive tentacled creature—possibly “Daigo’s Monster”—that devastates parts of the island.
Players may also witness Bart Simpson’s treehouse appearing near the mysterious purple anomaly at Creepy Camps, where a toon-style tree is expected to sprout during the pre-event build-up. The event will reportedly last around 20–25 minutes.
How to Watch The Simpsons Live Event in Fortnite
Unlike certain past collaborations that used Creative maps or island codes, this event will unfold directly on the main Battle Royale island. To watch it safely:
- Enter a Battle Royale or Zero Build match 30 minutes early.
- Stay airborne for the first few moments or glide around the map to avoid early eliminations.
- Weapons and damage might not be fully disabled, so maintain distance from other players if you land.
Once the event concludes, a special end screen will appear before the game enters server downtime for roughly 5 hours, during which Chapter 6 Season 4 officially ends.
