The Turnabout quest in ARC Raiders is one of those missions that seems simple on paper but can turn tricky if you’re short on luck—or missing the right key. This guide breaks down each step so you can complete the quest efficiently and claim your rewards without backtracking.
Turnabout Quest
You’ll receive the Turnabout mission from Celeste, one of the traders in Speranza. The objective is to recover and upload a set of Blackmail Files found inside the North Trench Tower on the Spaceport map.
Before you begin, make sure you’ve completed Digging Up Dirt, as Turnabout becomes available right after it. Celeste will also provide you with a Spaceport Trench Tower Key, though you can find another one if it’s lost during your runs.

- Locate and upload the Blackmail Files to Celeste
Step 1: Locate the North Trench Tower
Head to the Spaceport map, then move toward the northern section—the tower sits between the West and East Hangars, near the West Container Yard. You’ll recognize it by its tall white structure and distinctive blue staircases that wrap around the exterior.
If you prefer a stealthier or faster route, you can use a zipline to land directly on the roof. Otherwise, take the main stairs up to the top entrance.
Tip: Enemies like Arc units and human patrols often appear around the hangars, so carry a loadout capable of handling close- to mid-range fights.
Step 2: Unlock the Tower
When you reach the door, use the Spaceport Trench Tower Key provided by Celeste. If you don’t have it:
- Visit the Dam Battlegrounds map.
- Check Research or Administration buildings—these are high-loot areas where keys often spawn.
- The Ruby Residence on the west side of Dam Battlegrounds is also a reliable spot; check the first-floor shelf near the bed.
Key spawns are random, so persistence pays off. Once you’ve secured one, return to the tower.
Step 3: Upload the Blackmail Files
Inside the tower, follow the main corridor—move straight, turn left, and look for a yellow or gray terminal. This is where you’ll upload the blackmail files.
Interact with the terminal, wait a few seconds for the upload to complete, and watch for the quest update confirming success. You’ve officially finished the mission.
Before you leave, loot the room. The North Trench Tower is a medium-to-high loot zone, making it worth the extra time to gather supplies or gun parts for future raids.
Step 4: Report Back to Celeste
Return to Speranza and speak with Celeste to turn in the quest. She’ll reward you for recovering the files and completing the upload.
