Crunchyroll Anime Library Coming to Prime Video: Now watch anime for $7.99 per month ($9.99 for premium Mega Fan) in the US

Sony and Amazon have reached a global agreement to bring Crunchyroll's entire anime library to Prime Video.

The service is now available for Prime members in the U.S., U.K., Canada, and Sweden. For other territories (regions), by 2024.

Prime members can choose between two Crunchyroll membership tiers: Fan ($7.99/month) and Mega Fan ($9.99/month).

Mega Fan subscribers can download anime titles for offline viewing and can expect "additional non-video benefits" in the future.

Both Crunchyroll membership tiers offer ad-free streaming of popular anime shortly after their Japanese release.

Crunchyroll has a vast anime library, with over 24,000 hours of content and 46,000 episodes across 1,300 series and films.

If you don't have enough cash to buy an Add-on subscription, don't worry. Amazon is making Crunchyroll's 24/7 linear channel available on Freevee for free with occasional ads.

Amazon aims to become a one-stop-shop for all streaming content, similar to Apple's efforts to streamline TV apps and user subscriptions.
