Apple has unveiled its latest flagship smartphones, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, at a special event on September 12th.


The new iPhones feature a new design, a Dynamic Island display, A16 Bionic chip,  48MP Main camera, and a USB-C port.

The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus has Super Retina XDR OLED display, pill-shaped Dynamic Island instead of the notch, which houses the Face ID sensors and selfie camera (12MP).

The new iPhones also have a USB-C port instead of the Lightning port, which allows for faster charging and data transfer, as well as compatibility with other USB-C devices.

The new iPhones features 48MP Main camera which supports ProRes video recording, 12MP Ultra Wide camera and a 12MP Telephoto camera, which offer optical zoom and night mode.

The new iPhones also have a LiDAR scanner, which enables faster autofocus and improved depth sensing for augmented reality apps.

The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are powered by the A16 Bionic chip and has a new ISP (Image Signal Processor), which enhances the quality of photos and videos.

Other features:

Supports ProMotion technology, 15W wireless (MagSafe), Cinematic mode (4K@30fps), Ultra Wideband 2 (UWB) and Emergency SOS via satellite.


The new iPhones are available in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage options, pre-order starts from Sept 15, and prices in India start from ₹79,900 for iPhone 15 and ₹89,900 for iPhone 15 Plus.
