Bloodborne Remake: FromSoftware’s Miyazaki Shares His Thoughts and Hopes

Hidetaka Miyazaki, the President of FromSoftware, has addressed the topic of a Bloodborne remake in a recent interview.

Miyazaki expressed his joy at the number of fans still passionate about Bloodborne, a game that was released in 2015.

He acknowledged the benefits of waiting for new and more capable hardware to emerge but did not directly suggest that the remake will be holding on for the PS5.

Miyazaki mentioned that “modern hardware allows more players to appreciate all the games”, and that sometimes, “new hardware is definitely a part of what gives these remakes value.”

However, he also clarified that FromSoftware does not own the IP for Bloodborne, any decisions regarding a remake would be up to Sony.

Fans are eagerly awaiting news of a remake of Bloodborne; however, no promises or hints of anything in the works have been made.

For now, it seems the decision isn’t really up to FromSoftware but it’s entirely on Sony, which owns Bloodborne.
