For many players, Foundry Cove is one of those neighborhoods in The Sims 4 that you’ve probably visited without even realizing it had a name. If you’re taking part in quests like Nature’s Calling, you’ll eventually be asked to travel to this location—leaving some players wondering exactly where to find it. Here’s a full breakdown of where Foundry Cove is, what you’ll find there, and why it’s worth exploring.

What Is Foundry Cove?
Foundry Cove is a neighborhood in Willow Creek, a base-game world in The Sims 4—so every player has access without any expansion packs. You’ll find it on the southeast edge of the Willow Creek map, bordered by canals and dotted with collectibles. Because the homes here are generally cheaper than in other Willow Creek neighborhoods, many new households settle here first
How to Travel to Foundry Cove
There are two reliable ways to reach Foundry Cove:
- Using the Phone
- Open your Sim’s phone.
- Tap the green Travel icon.
- During special events like Nature’s Calling, you may see a direct “Travel to Foundry Cove” option. Some players have reported this shortcut can be glitchy, so the world map is always a safe fallback.
- Using the World Map
- Open the world map.
- Select Willow Creek.
- Foundry Cove is the bottom-right neighborhood with five lots. Pick any lot to enter the area.
Both methods work even outside of quests, letting you explore the neighborhood freely
All Lots in Foundry Cove
Each of the five lots offers something different—whether you want to build from scratch or move into a starter home:
- Bargain Bend – The only empty lot, perfect for builders who want a blank canvas.
- Streamlet Single – A one-bedroom starter with a decent living room. The front corner yard is large enough to fit a rocketship or backyard observatory.
- Crick Cabana – A compact home with two bedrooms. It backs onto a canal and sits near the magical Sylvan Tree. Great for couples, roommates, or a small family.
- Daisy Hovel – Small house but on a spacious lot, giving plenty of gardening space and room to expand.
- Garden Essence – The largest home, originally housing the BFF household (Travis Scott, Liberty Lee, and Summer Holiday). In January 2025, Patch 174 redesigned this lot, adding a swimming pool in its fenced backyard.
All five lots begin as residential properties, though players can replace them with other lot types if they wish.
Neighborhood Features
- Fishing & Collectibles – The neighborhood has three fishing spots, plus multiple nodes where Sims can dig for rocks or search for frogs.
- Community Garden – Located directly behind Garden Essence, the garden already has plants and trees growing, making it a great place for Sims to train their Gardening skill if their own yards are too small.
- The Sylvan Tree – This magical tree sits between Crick Cabana and Daisy Hovel. Sims can “Talk” to the tree until an opening appears, then choose the “Explore” option. If the correct path choices are made, they’ll reach Sylvan Glade, one of the hidden worlds in The Sims 4.
Foundry Cove in Events
In the Nature’s Calling event, Sims are often required to:
- Travel to Foundry Cove
- Spend time outdoors
- Dig up rocks in yards or near the community garden.
Rocks tend to spawn in backyards and especially in the eastern community garden, making this one of the easiest neighborhoods for completing collection-based tasks.
