Build-A-Bear Workshop and Pokémon have teamed up once again to expand their plush collection. This time, two fan favorites are stepping into the spotlight: the adorable Wooloo and a massive jumbo-sized Gengar. Both plushes bring unique accessories and features that make them standout collectibles for trainers and plush enthusiasts alike.

The reveal took place during the closing ceremony of the 2025 Pokémon World Championships, making it one of the highlights of the event.

Build-A-Bear’s Pokémon line has consistently drawn attention for its quality craftsmanship and exclusive bundles. Wooloo, on the other hand, introduces a newer favorite into the lineup, appealing to fans who first fell in love with it in Generation 8.

At present, the only other jumbo Pokémon Build-A-Bear is Charizard, which stands at a similar height. Gengar now joins this very limited “jumbo tier,” suggesting that more giant plushes may arrive in the future.
Although Jumbo Gengar is not life-size—a true-to-scale version would stand nearly five feet tall—it is comparable in size to Pokémon Center’s popular life-size Eeveelution plushes like Flareon and Vaporeon. Those plushes sold out quickly at $399.99, making Gengar’s $149 price tag feel like a relative bargain.
