Date Everything is full of quirky characters who are objects or concepts brought to life. One of the most intriguing is Daisuke, Dateable #40, the personification of dishware. He’s dedicated and serious about his craft but hides a soft side that players can uncover if they’re patient. Here’s everything you need to know to romance Daisuke and unlock his love ending.

Players can find Daisuke in the kitchen, either inside cabinets or by using Dateviators on objects like the dishware cabinet above the microwave, the knife block, or the utensils drawer on the kitchen counter.
Note that if you’re trying to meet Daisuke through the dishware cabinet above the microwave, you’ll need to remove the Dateviators first before you can open it and start the conversation. His scenes are set to his theme, Beauty in the Broken, which suits his vibe perfectly.
Daisuke’s likes and dislikes are:
- Likes: Taking things seriously
- Dislikes: Constructive feedback
How to Meet Daisuke
Your story with Daisuke kicks off when you accidentally trip and fall into him while he’s taking inventory of his dishes. He sees his dishes as priceless and even calls himself “dishwear.” Even though he’s not thrilled about interruptions, he steps in to protect his plates and bowls, getting chipped in the process. The injury slows him down, and for the first time, he admits he might need help.
Daisuke is tall, with shoulder-length black hair often tied into a bun using a teacup. He wears blue robes patterned after dishware, and his lightly tanned skin is dusted with fine freckles, adding to his quiet charm.
Helping Daisuke Out
Romancing Daisuke is all about patience and helping him see there’s more to life than work. Players will go through 6 interactions with Daisuke, choosing specific dialogue options that influence whether they reach his love, friendship, or hate endings. Being polite, patient, and steering conversations toward poetry are the safest paths to romance.

Washing Dishes
At first, Daisuke doesn’t trust anyone else to handle his precious dishware. But since he’s injured, he asks you to help wash them. When he sees how careful you are, he’s surprised and starts to trust you a little more.
Making Deliveries
Next, Daisuke asks you to deliver items to his friends Mitchell, Beverly, and Kopi. Keep in mind you can’t deliver to these characters if you haven’t met them yet. You’ll need to unlock them first and then come back on another day to complete Daisuke’s tasks.
For the deliveries, you’ll need to use the Dateviators on specific kitchen objects to find each person:
- Kopi: Use Dateviators on the espresso machine to the right of the sink and choose “I, uh, have a delivery.”
- Mitchell: Target the bowl on the table in the middle of the kitchen and say, “I’ve got a delivery from Daisuke.”
- Beverly: Use Dateviators on the drink cart next to the trash can and say, “I’m actually here for a delivery.”
Each delivery reveals a bit more about Daisuke:
- Mitchell shares that Daisuke comes from a family of ceramic artists and puts his work above everything—even his health.
- Beverly worries about Daisuke working too hard and says he used to enjoy hobbies like writing poetry. She suggests writing him a poem to remind him of who he used to be.
- Kopi’s delivery is shorter but shows Daisuke’s connection to others through his work.
Through these tasks, players see how dedicated Daisuke is to his craft—and how lonely that dedication has made him. Daisuke also mentions Capritzio, another assistant who has been helping him reorganize his inventory, showing he’s slowly accepting help from others.
Deep Conversations With Daisuke
After you finish the deliveries, Daisuke admits how much your help has meant to him. But he still seems lost in thought, staring at his dishes and wondering if he should ever slow down.
Following Beverly’s advice, you bring up poetry. At first, Daisuke is defensive, asking, “Who told you that? Beverly’s job is to dispense beverages, not secrets.” But he eventually opens up, saying he used to love writing poetry and had hobbies, friends, and even relationships. Over time, he gave those things up, believing work was the only way to avoid regret.
This conversation makes him realize he’s been missing out on a lot.

The Poetry Date
Not long after, Daisuke calls you back and admits you’re the reason he’s thinking differently. He sets up a table with paper, pens, and candles, creating a romantic setting. He wants you both to write poetry together and tells you not to overthink it.
You can choose how you want your poem to sound. One funny option is:
“I fell in love with dishware. They say ugly? I’m like bish, where? He’s handsome and hot, a loser he’s not, and I hope he’ll let me kiss… there.”
No matter what you write, Daisuke is touched. He reads his own poem back, filled with sweet lines like:
- “Since you entered my life I have been renewed like a forgotten subscription to a magazine.”
- “Your beautiful smile bathes me in sweetness like a jar full of honey that has been knocked over on the shelf.”
- “The day you fell on top of me was a day of great change like a pocket filled with quarters.”
- “I hope we will fall on top of each other in a different setting one day.”
It’s a moment that shows his hidden romantic side.
Daisuke’s Love Ending
The romance wraps up with Daisuke thanking you for helping him see what he’s been missing. He takes your hand, kisses it gently, and admits he cares deeply for you. Then he sweeps you into his “strong arms” and carries you upstairs, wanting some privacy away from his precious dishes.
The game ends on the note that love, like fine china, is delicate but priceless.

Other Endings With Daisuke
Not every player wants to romance Daisuke. Date Everything lets you choose a friendship or hate ending instead.
- Friendship Ending: You can stay friends with Daisuke by writing him a haiku about friendship or telling him during the final scene that you just want to be friends. He’ll respect your choice, and it’s a sweet way to end things.
- Hate Ending: If you choose rude dialogue or write him a dirty limerick instead of a romantic poem, you’ll push Daisuke toward anger. Telling him “Oh no, not this” during his confession is another way to end things badly.
Whichever ending you choose—love, friendship, or hate—you’ll earn 5 Poise SPECS points for finishing Daisuke’s storyline.
Daisuke’s route is perfect for players who enjoy seeing a serious character slowly open up. He’s dedicated and protective but has a soft side waiting for someone patient enough to bring it out. Handle his dishes carefully, speak from the heart, and you might just win over the kitchen’s quiet guardian.
