The spooky season has returned to Los Santos, and Rockstar Games has unleashed its annual Halloween Haunts event in GTA Online. This year’s event brings back the classics — UFO sightings, ghost hunts, Slasher modes — along with fresh playlists, bonus payouts, and eerie new rewards.
Halloween in GTA Online runs throughout October, featuring rotating Adversary Modes, themed challenges, and double to quadruple reward payouts.
Rockstar has reintroduced the Slasher playlist, now with a terrifying new twist: players stalk each other through the claustrophobic corridors of the Ramius Submarine. Meanwhile, familiar events like Beast vs. Slasher and Judgement Day return for a limited time with boosted GTA$ and RP.

Every week features a new themed mode in the Featured Series, each offering 2X GTA$ and RP (4X for GTA+ members):

UFO Sightseeing Event (October 14 – November 2)
The legendary UFO event returns for a 20-day run, encouraging players to photograph UFOs around Los Santos and send the snaps to Omega for rewards.
Event Details:
- Runs: Oct 14 – Nov 2, 2025
- Active Hours: 22:00–04:00 (in-game time)
- Reward: $15,000 + 1,000 RP per photo
- Zancudo UFO (Day 9): $50,000 bonus
- Capture all 26 UFOs: extra $100,000
Tips:
- Approach carefully — getting too close shuts off your vehicle engine.
- Join a new session if the UFO disappears.
- On the final four days, you can get abducted and unlock The Shocker melee weapon and Gray Space Interloper Outfit.
Ghosts Exposed Event (All October)
Ghosts are haunting Los Santos again — and it’s your job to photograph all 10 of them. Each ghost appears during a specific in-game hour and at a fixed location.
Rewards:
- $20,000 per photo
- $50,000 for the final ghost
- All 10 photographed = unlock Ghosts Exposed Outfit + Albany Bingham Livery

Capture all ghosts to unlock exclusive Ghostbusters-inspired cosmetics.
