Legacy Piece Benimaro: How to Unlock Him, Requirements and Farming Guide

Unlocking Benimaro in Legacy Piece requires $70,000,000, SS Rank or higher, the King of Asakusa title, and five separate materials farmed from Fire Force Company content. You get the title by finishing Captain Burns’ three-quest storyline, and you collect the remaining materials from Mission Board rewards and repeated Infernal Ambusher Boss fights.

How Do You Join the Fire Force Company in Legacy Piece?

None of the farming steps below open up until you finish a short questline first.

Interact with Captain Burns on Seventh Company Island to pick it up. It breaks into three parts.

Cats: Three cats are hiding somewhere on Seventh Company Island, and audio is your best clue. Track down wherever the music plays loudest on the island, then check the surrounding buildings and corners until all three turn up.

Hostages: This part sends you to Ruined City Island, where hostage NPCs wait along the roads. Approaching one triggers a wave of enemies, so wipe them out before you pick the hostage up, then bring them back to the commander. Repeat until you’ve saved five.

Ambushes: Watch for red circles popping up on Seventh Company Island, Ruined City Island, and A-City Island. Stepping into one and interacting with it summons the Infernal Ambusher Boss. Take it down, then repeat the process two more times.

Once you clear all three parts, the game hands you the King of Asakusa title and opens the Mission Board, both of which sit on Benimaro’s requirement list.

What Does the Infernal Ambusher Boss Drop?

Once you’ve cleared the questline, most of your grinding will center on one enemy: the Infernal Ambusher Boss.

It’s a tough fight at 12,288,480 HP, and it isn’t tied to one location either, since it can turn up on Seventh Company Island, Ruined City Island, or A-City Island.

How Does the Mission Board and Rank System Work?

The Mission Board becomes your main way to keep collecting materials, and it opens as soon as you report back to the commander after finishing Captain Burns’ questline.

From there, the system runs on repeat cycles: you pick a task, clear it, and go back to claim what you earned. Each finished task bumps that same mission into a tougher version next time around, and the payout scales up with it. Every claim also nets a Company Badge on top of the random item, and those badges carry over to the Company Badge Store, where you can trade them for extra materials.

Completing missions also raises your Fire Force Company rank, moving you from Cadet to Recruit, Second Class Fire Soldier, First Class Fire Soldier, and finally Lieutenant. Higher ranks unlock better progression within the company system.

What Does the Asakusa’s King Trait Do?

There’s also a 1% chance for Benimaro to roll a bonus trait called Asakusa’s King.
