The Lies of P: Overture DLC introduces a new lineup of weapons that expands not only your combat options but how you approach every encounter. From ranged tools like the Royal Horn Bow to experimental heavy hitters like the gunblade-inspired Pale Knight, this update rewards exploration, experimentation, and adaptability.
Much like the base game, most of these weapons can be disassembled into blades and handles, allowing you to build hybrid tools that fit your preferred playstyle. Whether you lean toward Motivity, Technique, or a balanced build, Overture gives you ten new reasons to rethink your loadout.
In this guide, we’ll walk you through every new weapon available in Lies of P: Overture, where to find them, and how they work in battle.

Royal Horn Bow
Location: Hall of Adventure, Chapter 1
This is the first bow in the series and the first weapon you’ll find in Overture. Start at the Hall of Adventure Stargazer, head past the mammoth enemy, then up the staircase. At the top, take a right and enter a chamber with two gorilla-type enemies that smash through windows. After defeating them, drop down a ladder, beat an elephant-like foe, then loop back up and through a side route to find a chest on the overlook containing the bow.
Fable Arts:
- Link Emergency Dodge
- Wind of Swords
- (Also known from alternate versions as Patient Shot & Dodge Shot)
Technique-focused and introduces a proper ranged playstyle. Excellent for keeping distance and repositioning mid-fight.
Lorenzini Bolt
Location: Jungle Zone Walkway, Chapter 1
From the third Stargazer in the chapter, head past the tree with the Golden Seed and drop down at the broken bridge over the frozen river. Turn left and push forward until you fight a large spear-armed enemy. Behind a wall of icicles nearby is a hidden cave with a chest containing the Lorenzini Bolt.
Fable Arts:
- Explosive Shot
- Single Shot
High base damage and AoE-friendly fable arts. Scales well with Technique and is perfect for staggering tough enemies from a mid-range position.
Maniac’s Pinwheel
Location: Carnival Grounds, Chapter 1
This unique greatsword is earned by completing a whack-a-mole mini-game inside the carnival tent. You’ll need at least one Carnival Coin. Go through the main gate, past the Clown Knock-Down game, then up a ramp to a circular platform. Take the path with short stairs, eliminate the bomb-lobbing puppet, and pay the puppet at the booth in front of the tent. Inside, destroy 12 pop-up puppets within the time limit to win the weapon.
Tips for winning:
- Don’t lock on
- Use horizontally sweeping weapons
- Aim methodically and don’t rush
Fable Arts:
- Swift multi-hit attack
- Heavy overhead slam
Strong Motivity scaling, massive weight, and flashy design. It’s a fan-favorite for tank builds and looks incredible in motion.
Death’s Talons
Location: Trade at Hotel Krat after defeating Markonia (Chapter 1 boss)
Trade the Macabre Puppeteer’s Ergo with Klaus, the Ergo merchant at the Eventide Hotel Krat. Klaus is located to the left of the record player room.
Stats Notable Add-on:
- Critical Rate: 40.00
Fable Arts:
- Link Slash
- Rampage (boosts weapon damage temporarily)
Pure Technique weapon with extremely fast combos and strong crit potential. Feels like Bloodborne claws with a Wolverine vibe.
Puppet of the Future’s Welder
Location: Zealtor Underground Facility, Chapter 2
Unlock the shortcut elevator from the Zealtor Underground Facility Stargazer, ride it down to the acid-filled lower chamber. Drop into a pit with no ladder, break the cell door, and fight a large acid-spitting enemy. Climb the ladder up, open a shortcut, then defeat the red-poker enemy guarding a cell. A wall will break open as you approach—defeat the surprise mini-boss and claim the chest inside.
Fable Arts:
- Overheat Stab
- Fire Amplification
One of the few Advance-scaling weapons with fire damage. Ideal for hybrid elemental builds.
La Vendetta
Location: Post-Veronique, Freeze Mist area, Chapter 2
After defeating Veronique, the frozen gas areas become accessible. Backtrack to the first Stargazer and enter the tunnel now cleared of mist. Defeat three white butterflies in the next chamber to receive an Ancient Disk, then go upstairs past the rolling mini-boss to find the chest with La Vendetta.
Fable Arts:
- Strengthen Explosion
- Patient Swinging
Hits like a truck and is ideal for stagger-focused builds. Works best when you pace your swings rather than spamming.
Arche’s Guardian
Location: Ergo Mining Site, Chapter 3
Close to the Crusher Puppet NPC, you’ll find this weapon on a ledge. From the Crusher Puppet, follow the left-side path, cross a wooden bridge, defeat a puppet dog and floating bomb, and take the drop path where a chest waits at the end.
Fable Arts:
- Thunderbolt
- Electric Discharge
Strong Advance/B Blitz scaling weapon that applies shock. Good synergy with electric amulets and stun-lock strategies.
Pale Knight
Location: Trade at Hotel Krat after defeating Anguished Guardian (Chapter 3 boss)
Once you beat the Anguished Guardian of the Ruins, you’ll receive Tortured Guardian’s Ergo. Trade this with Klaus to obtain Pale Knight—a giant anime-style gunblade with incredible flair.
Fable Arts:
- Shotgun Blast
- Thrusting Charge
Blends Motivity weight with ranged burst power. Flashy, devastating, and immensely satisfying to use.
Silent Evangelists’ Mace
Location: Frozen Coast Wrecked Ship, Chapter 4
From the Frozen Coast Stargazer, turn around, enter the shipwreck, climb a ladder, and head up broken ramps until you reach a section where three long-coated enemies patrol. Defeat them and loot the chest near the bowsprit.
Fable Arts:
- Acid Spray
- Linked Payback Swing
Excellent for acid builds. The mace is slow but dangerous, and its snake-head design makes it one of the more visually unique weapons.
Monad’s Rose Sword
Location: Final boss reward (no Ergo required)
You get this sword automatically after defeating the final boss of the DLC. There’s no trading or conditions—it’s yours at the end.
Fable Arts:
- Blossoming
- By the Name of the Rose
Balanced stats, elegant design, and solid late-game performance. Feels like a culmination weapon meant for New Game+ or maxed builds.
Final Thoughts
Lies of P: Overture doesn’t just drop ten new weapons—it challenges you to rethink how you fight. Some of these tools demand exploration, others test your patience, and a few require high-stakes boss takedowns. Whether you’re crafting custom weapons out of modular parts or embracing one of the new iconic designs, every weapon has a story—and a playstyle—to offer.
So go ahead, back up your save, take a detour through that suspicious tunnel, and claim your new favorite instrument of destruction. There’s no wrong choice—just new ways to cut through Krat.
