These unlock naturally as you advance through PEAK’s main zones:

  • Beachcomber Badge – Reach and light the campfire in SHORE.
  • Trailblazer Badge – Complete the TROPICS zone. Watch for ticks and tree canopies.

Teamwork and Survival Achievements

If you’re playing with others, these badges reward teamwork and situational awareness.

  • First Aid Badge – Heal friends for at least 100 HP in one expedition using bandages, roots, or aid kits.
  • Clutch Badge – Revive 3 ghosted players (not just unconscious) using Ancient Statues.
  • Emergency Preparedness Badge – Use items like Adrenaline, Heat Packs, or Scout Effigies to revive unconscious teammates.
  • Happy Camper Badge – Gain 5 morale boosts from campfires. Requires multiplayer with multiple players present at a lit fire.
  • Participation Badge – Stay as a ghost and let another player escape. The easiest badge to passively earn.
  • Mentorship Badge – Host a game or play solo, then:
    • Either use the Scoutmaster’s Bugle
    • Or separate 200–500m from your squad to trigger a visit from Scoutmaster Myres

Note: Some multiplayer achievements are only triggered based on host player progress or actions. Coordinate accordingly.

Solo and Precision-Based Challenges

These badges focus on solo skill, speed, and careful planning.

  • Lone Wolf Badge – Escape the island completely alone, without help.
  • Speed Climber Badge – Finish the run in under 1 hour. Choose a short map and skip side objectives.
  • Survivalist Badge – Never pass out from hunger, cold, poison, or injury.
  • Balloon Badge – Complete the run without taking any fall damage. Use ropes, pitons, and secure paths.
  • Leave No Trace Badge – Never place any ropes, pitons, or chains. Shelf Fungus and Magic Beans are allowed.

Tip: Use natural platforms, mushroom shelves, or bean sprouts to complete Leave No Trace safely.

Nature, Nutrition, and Foraging Achievements

Focused on what you gather, cook, or consume:

  • oraging Badge – Eat 5 different berries, including ticks (which count despite being gross).
  • Mycology Badge – Eat 4 unique, non-toxic mushrooms. Study them beforehand.
  • Gourmand Badge – Eat the following and escape successfully:
    • Cooked coconut half
    • Honeycomb
    • Yellow Winterberry
    • Egg
  • Naturalist Badge – Finish a run without eating packaged food (no energy bars, lollipops, or cans).
  • Cooking Badge – Cook 20 meals using campfires or standard stoves (portable stoves don’t count).
  • Toxicology Badge – Cure 200 poison points. Sources include spiked vines, burnt food, or purple leaves.

Tip: Keep antidotes handy and use healing items generously to hit the Toxicology milestone.

    Hidden and Narrative Badges

These badges involve secrets, collectibles, and optional quests.

    • Bookworm Badge – Find and read all 8 diary pages of Scoutmaster Myres. They’re found at campfires, and must be read in order (1–8).
    • Bing Bong Badge – Carry the Bing Bong plush from the crash site all the way to escape. One teammate carrying it will unlock it for all.
    • Animal Serenading Badge – Find a capybara (usually in ALPINE or TROPICS) and play a bugle near it.
    • Arborist Badge – In TROPICS, climb to the top of a massive tree with umbrella-like foliage.
    • Esoterica Badge – Find and interact with a mystical item, such as the Pirate’s Compass or Cursed Skull. Found in statues or rare luggage.

These often rely on RNG. If you can’t find them, wait for the next daily map reset.

    Climbing and Technical Skill Achievements

These badges track how you use your climbing tools and plan routes:

    • Endurance Badge – Climb 50 meters vertically without touching the ground. Use pitons, vines, or rope chains.
    • Bouldering Badge – Place 10 pitons during one or multiple runs.
    • Knot Tying Badge – Deploy 100 meters of rope. All lengths count, including short bursts.
    • High Altitude Badge – Climb a total of 5,000 meters across any number of runs.
    • Plunderer Badge – Open 15 luggage cases in a single expedition.

      Pro Tips for Full Completion

      • Use Tenderfoot Mode to slow hunger and stamina drain; great for no-death achievement runs.
      • Map RNG can block some badges (Esoterica, Arborist, Bookworm). Try again after the daily reset.
      • Bugles are found in crash sites and ancient statues.
      • Capybaras often appear near steam clouds.
      • Portable stoves don’t count for the Cooking Badge—use campfires or built-in stoves.
      • Only Scout Effigies and Ancient Statues reliably revive ghosts (post v0.13 patch).
      • Host controls lore progress in multiplayer. Be the host or play solo for Bookworm and Mentorship badges.

From ghost revivals to culinary achievements and lore discoveries, PEAK’s badges cover every playstyle. With careful planning and a bit of creativity, you can collect all 32 badges and prove you’ve mastered every facet of this challenging climb.
