Build the World You Want with Custom Servers

As of June 18, 2025, Once Human players can now create their own Custom Servers. These servers let you decide how the game works. You can change weather, time of day, XP gain, how fast items come back, and even how easy or hard it is to build.

You can use these servers to make a peaceful place for crafting or a tough world for survival. You’re free to make the rules.

These private servers also come with admin tools, giving the owner full control over the server. You can invite friends using a code or keep it open so anyone can join. And the best part? You don’t lose any progress.

Premium Content and Progress Carries Over

If you’ve earned or bought items on the main servers—like skins, keys, or Battle Pass rewards—you can still use them on Custom Servers. This includes:

  • Lightforge Loot Crates and their draw history
  • Fashion items and furniture
  • Meta Pass perks
  • Battle Pass progress and rewards

Everything stays synced, so there’s no need to start over.

Plan Ahead with the New Server Schedule

A new Server Launch Schedule system helps players line up their next scenario. During the end phase of your current scenario, you can pre-register for the next one. This guarantees your spot and lets you skip waiting in server queues.

You can cancel or change your pre-registration any time before the new one begins.

Stay Connected with Discord

The update also makes it easier to stay in touch with your group:

  • If you link Discord, you’re in-game messages can appear in Discord DMs and vice versa.
  • Hive and Warband leaders can link chats to Discord channels.
  • You’ll even see a small Discord icon next to friends who are linked.

This helps groups play together, even when they’re not logged in.

New Battle Pass and Shop Updates

The Final Gambit Battle Pass is here with new cosmetics:

  • Epic outfit: Final Gambit
  • Epic weapon skin: Terminus – Sword
  • Dice skin: Nebula
  • Secret Base furniture formulas (Rare)

Along with that, players can pick one of three rerun Loot Crates:

  • Beach Bash
  • Hallow’s Masquerade
  • Hype Party

Each crate keeps your old draw progress and includes special rewards based on how many items you’ve collected.

More Trophies and Theme Packs

New trophies are now live in Meta’s Bounty, like:

  • Ecological Assessment
  • Master Builder
  • Dimensional Traveler

New theme packs are also rolling out:

  • Ascend Daily (Epic, 40% off for 2 weeks)
  • Double Agent (22% off for 2 weeks)
  • Green Bites (Rare furniture)

These let players personalize their home base even more.

Combat and Scenario Updates

The June 18 patch also includes balance changes to make the game fairer:

  • Lower HP for early Deviants (Lv. 10–40)
  • Tougher bosses like Manibus and Eternal Dreamer
  • Crafting changes for Reality Resetol
  • Dungeons now drop better items, like full weapons and Crystals
  • Rewards from Dreamer bosses are now split: Basic and Full (requires Reality Fragments)

The update also improves how multiplayer challenges scale with group size and fixes several bugs with visuals, sound, and scenario tasks.

What’s Coming on July 2

NetEase has confirmed major changes coming in the Version 2.0 Showcase:

  • No more Dream Zone limits on teleporting and dungeons
  • Better early-game guidance in story missions
  • More consistent boss difficulty across different modes

This means a smoother start for new players and a better flow through the game’s harder content.

Custom Servers let players take charge of Once Human like never before. Whether you want to make a chill place to explore or a brutal battleground, the tools are now in your hands.

With big updates already confirmed for July 2—including new gameplay, better balance, and a new PvP spin-off called Raidzone—the future of Once Human looks more flexible and fun than ever.
