Detailed Locations & Movement Cues

1. Desert Rain Frog (Veiled Sea)

Your first frog is tucked away in the Veiled Sea.
After restoring the water at the golden door with two chains, grind the chain behind the main building. Look for a side path on the left that leads toward a waterfall. Drop down across descending stone platforms until you reach the lowest level, where the Desert Rain Frog is waiting.

2. Bullfrog (Lost Grotto)

The Bullfrog is found in the Lost Grotto.
Near the level’s end, after activating the water point beside the dolphin statue, the Archelon will appear. Instead of leaving, explore behind the dolphin statue. A narrow rooftop path extends toward a stone pillar. Carefully follow it and climb the rocks to uncover the Bullfrog.

3. Horned Frog (Frozen Tundra / Shadow Tundra)

In the Frozen Tundra (also called Shadow Tundra in some versions), the Horned Frog waits in a tricky spot.
Once you’ve activated the first golden bell, head into the open central area. Look for a sloping ramp that faces back toward the entrance. Use your boost and a charged jump to reach the tall platform ahead. On top, you’ll find the Horned Frog.

4. Poison Dart Frog (Sacred River)

The Poison Dart Frog is found after restoring water around the massive ship in the Sacred River.
Ride the chain that carries you to higher ground, then watch to the right. Multiple boats rest on a nearby cliffside. The lowest boat holds the frog—grind and jump carefully to reach it.

5. Frog Skeleton (Boiling Cavern)

The final frog isn’t alive—it’s a skeletal relic located in the Boiling Cavern.
Progress through the level until you reach the large room with a water ball at its center. Instead of proceeding through the main door, head right. You’ll see platforms leading upward toward a boat perched on a tall ledge. Climb up to claim the Frog Skeleton.

Pro Tips for Collecting Frogs

While each frog has its own unique hiding spot, there are a few general strategies that can make the hunt easier:

  • Use Chapter Select: If you miss one, don’t worry. You can revisit any level later.
  • Look for Side Paths: Frogs are never on the main trail; always check rooftops, cliffs, and hidden ledges.
  • Combine with Other Collectibles: Since you’ll already be exploring for shells and water points, it’s efficient to grab frogs along the way.

Collecting all frogs in Sword of the Sea isn’t just about trophies—it’s also about uncovering hidden details in the game’s stunning environments. Each discovery rewards patient exploration and keen observation. Whether it’s the lively Poison Dart Frog or the haunting Frog Skeleton, these collectibles are small reminders of the game’s charm and depth. Play Now!
