A mysterious island has appeared above the Valley, shrouded in mist and magic. From October 22 to November 11, 2025, Dreamers are invited to step through a glowing portal and uncover the secrets of The Haunted Floating Festival — a limited-time Halloween event filled with spooky puzzles, haunting décor, and exclusive rewards.
How to Start the Haunted Floating Festival
To begin your adventure, talk to Merlin in the Plaza. He’ll direct you to a new portal near the Plaza’s wishing well, glowing with eerie purple light and surrounded by bats. Entering this portal takes you to the Haunted Floating Island, where the entire event unfolds.
Alternatively, you can open the Event Menu from the pause screen and press “Teleport” under The Haunted Floating Festival section. You’ll instantly arrive at the island, and can return anytime using the well in its center.
Tip: Make sure your inventory has free slots before you begin. You’ll be gathering lots of limited-time materials.
Event Overview
The Haunted Floating Festival revolves around five unique puzzles, each unlocking new rewards.
- First three puzzles: Available from October 22
- Potion Brewer’s House: Unlocks October 29
- Haunted Mansion: Unlocks November 5
Each puzzle challenges players in different ways — from feeding spectral critters to solving riddles and collecting magical items. Some puzzles can take several real-time days to complete.
Puzzle 1: Ghostly Critter (Zero the Fox)
The first puzzle introduces a ghostly blue fox named Zero, wandering the island near his small haunted house between two large trees. He’s adorable — but hungry.
How to Solve
- Find Zero and interact with him like any other critter.
- Feed him his favorite food: the Haunted Skeleton Fish.
- The fish spawns near Zero’s house and respawns every 10 minutes, with a maximum of three available at a time.
- Each day you feed Zero, he drops a Memory Shard.
- Feed him for four consecutive days to complete the memory.
Once the full memory image is revealed, travel to the location shown in the picture (near the Haunted Mansion Hearse) and dig up the glowing spot to earn your prize.
Reward: Clawed Foot Tub (furniture)
Puzzle 2: Combination Pillar
Behind the Haunted Mansion, you’ll find four tall stone pillars with rotating symbol tiles and Roman numerals. To solve the puzzle, you must match the symbols with clues found across the island.
How to Solve
- Explore the island to find four stone squares, each showing a symbol and surrounded by a different number of pumpkins.
- The number of pumpkins represents the pillar’s order:
- 1 pumpkin → Spider Web
- 2 pumpkins → Bat
- 3 pumpkins → Witch Hat
- 4 pumpkins → Cat
- Interact with the pillars to rotate their tiles until they match this sequence.
Correct Order:
1 – Spider Web | 2 – Bat | 3 – Witch Hat | 4 – Cat
Reward: Haunted Festival Dress
Puzzle 3: Terror-rific Tree
A howling tree with glowing eyes stands near the fast-travel well. This tree is cursed — and it’s up to you to restore its power by offering it the items it craves.
How to Solve
A book near the headless statue reveals the riddle:
“Twenty black feathers from fearless birds,
Fifteen bony fish near a beloved companion’s tombstone,
Ten pale blooms near the most haunted of all houses.”
This riddle corresponds to specific collectible items:

Puzzle 5: Haunted Mansion (Unlocks November 5)
The final challenge takes place inside the Haunted Mansion, where a living suit of armor challenges you to a quiz of wits. Answer correctly to earn one of the event’s final exclusive rewards.

Limited-Time Materials
While exploring the island, keep an eye out for event-specific collectibles:
- Haunted Crow Feather – by the Scarecrow (10-minute respawn)
- Haunted Skeleton Fish – near Zero’s house (10-minute respawn)
- Haunted White Rose – near the Haunted Mansion (15-minute respawn)
These are essential for puzzle progression and cannot be found in the main Valley.
