The Only Map Where It Spawns: Stella Montis
You can only find the Frequency Modulation Box on the Stella Montis map. Other maps do not spawn this item at all, so always queue into Stella Montis when you need to farm it.
Within Stella Montis, the item spawns in Exodus-tagged areas, which contain higher-tier loot pools and specialized containers.

Start at Assembly Workshops
Begin your run in the Assembly Workshops area. This zone consistently produces the highest drop rate for Frequency Modulation Boxes.

- Cabinets and storage containers
- Industrial tool benches
- High-tier lockers
These containers often roll better loot tables than generic crates. Assembly also contains other valuable items, so expect higher player traffic and occasional PvP pressure.

Move Toward Medical Research
After clearing Assembly, rotate toward the Medical Research section. This area contains a dense concentration of searchable containers and regularly spawns rare components.

Use this location when Stella Montis feels overcrowded or heavily contested.

You cannot craft or purchase this item from any Workshop station or trader. Your only reliable option is scavenging and looting Exodus areas.
