How to Get the Baltheon Armor Set in Crimson Desert (Patch 1.04)

The Baltheon Armor set arrived in Crimson Desert with Update 1.04.00, bringing a classic knightly aesthetic that fans of plate armor and medieval fantasy will appreciate. Getting it is not as simple as walking into a shop, though. You need to earn a special reputation item first before Rhett will even show you the goods.

This guide covers exactly how to unlock the Baltheon Armor set, where to buy it, how much it costs, and whether it is worth equipping for the long haul.

What Is the Baltheon Armor Set?

The Baltheon set is a three-piece plate armor available exclusively to Kliff. It features a smooth silver finish with a classic knight aesthetic and consists of:

• Baltheon Plate Helm
• Baltheon Plate Armor
• Baltheon Plate Gloves

There are no official Boots or Cloak in the set. The Canta Plate Boots and any Contribution Shop cloak from Hernand pair nicely with it visually.

The Baltheon Plate Helm was previously a broken loot item called the Rekhia Plate Helm. If you picked one up before Update 1.04.00 and have not sold it, check your inventory as it may have already converted to the new piece.

Requirements Before You Buy

You cannot purchase the Baltheon Armor without the Hernandian Crown. When you browse Rhett’s shop without it, every Baltheon piece shows the red warning: “Only sold to those who hold prestige.”

The Hernandian Crown is a reputation item, not a cosmetic helmet. You do not need to equip it. Simply having it in your inventory is enough to unlock the armor for purchase.

Step 1: Earn 70 Contribution Points

The Hernandian Crown costs 70 Contribution Points at the Hernand Contribution Shop. This makes it the second most expensive item in that shop, so you will need to grind a bit before you can grab it.

Here is how to earn Contribution Points in Hernand:

• Complete Faction Quests for the Hernand faction (check the Journal Tab)
• Finish Bounties in the region
• Liberate areas around Hernand
• Defeat bandits in the surrounding zones
• Help beggars and complete certain main quests in the area

Faction Quests are the most consistent source. Run them passively alongside your normal progression and the points will accumulate quickly.

Step 2: Buy the Hernandian Crown

Head to Hernand Castle and look for the Contribution Shop inside. Purchase the Hernandian Crown for 70 Contribution Points from the vendor Haldwin.

Important tip: After you buy the Baltheon Armor, you can return the Hernandian Crown to the Contribution Shop to get your 70 Tokens back. Returning the Crown does not lock you out of the armor. You can buy and return the Crown as many times as you want. This also applies to all other Contribution Shop items across the game.

Step 3: Buy the Baltheon Armor from Rhett

With the Hernandian Crown in your inventory, travel to the Equipment Shop in the City of Hernand and speak to Rhett. The Baltheon pieces now appear available for purchase.

Baltheon Armor Stats

The Baltheon set focuses on Defense, with the Gloves offering a bonus Attack stat. All three pieces are fully upgradeable and each carries one Abyss Gear socket.

The numbers scale with upgrades, but the set offers no special passive effects or unique bonuses beyond raw stats.

Is the Baltheon Armor Worth It?

For endgame content, no. The Baltheon set does not compete with the Frostcursed Armor or Shadow Armor, which offer greater protection and special effects. If you are pushing into harder content, stick with those options.

For fashion and early-to-mid game play, yes. The silver plate look is one of the cleanest knight aesthetics in the game, and the set holds up perfectly fine during your time in Hernand. If you are building a classic warrior appearance, Baltheon is hard to beat.
