FC 27 FUT Tokens Explained: Champs Tokens, Gallery Tokens and Hall of FUT Rewards

EA FC 27 Ultimate Team runs on two separate token currencies this year, Champs Tokens from Division Rivals and Champions, and Gallery Tokens from grading Gallery Sets. Both feed their own store, and both lead toward different rewards, so it helps to know how each one works before you start spending. Champs Tokens come first below, followed by Gallery Tokens.

How do you get Champs Tokens in EA FC 27?

Champions Tokens replace the old fixed pack system that used to hand out whatever EA decided your rank deserved.

Champions Finals runs for 15 matches, and every win moves you up one rank. Your final record decides your payout, which now comes as two separate things: Coins paid directly to your club balance, and Champs Tokens you bank and spend on your own terms in the Champs Token Store.

Ranks 12 through 15 pay no Coins at all, so anything below Rank 11 leaves you playing purely for tokens. Even a Rank 15 finish still nets 15 tokens, which is enough to redeem something from the store.

The store holds 16 items ranging from a pair of 77+ Players Packs at 5 tokens up to the headline 3x 88+ Players Pack at 200 tokens.

Tradeable packs are worth more than untradeable ones if your goal is building up transfer market funds, so check the tradeable label before you spend.

The 200 token 3x 88+ Players Pack is the top option, but it needs a Rank 1 finish or several weeks of saved tokens to afford. Players finishing Rank 5 to 8 tend to get more consistent value from the 75 token 2x 86+ Players Pack. The single TOTW Player at 25 tokens is worth grabbing during a strong promo week since Team of the Week cards sell well on the transfer market. Tokens carry over between weekends, so a slow week does not reset your progress toward a bigger reward. That covers Champs Tokens. Gallery Tokens, the second currency, work in a completely different way.

How do you get Gallery Tokens in EA FC 27?

Gallery Tokens are a separate currency earned only from grading Gallery Sets, and they are the sole way to buy base Hall of FUT cards.

You fill a Set with eligible cards you have collected, then grade it. Grades run from D to S, and each grade pays a fixed number of tokens. Cards you pull from your own packs carry a First Owner tag that scores extra, so a Set built from packs you opened yourself can reach a higher grade than one built from purchased cards. Crucially, a card only needs to have passed through your club to count, so it keeps counting toward a Set even after you sell it or use it in an SBC, and there is no weekly cap on how many Gallery Tokens you can earn.

Fastest way to earn Gallery Tokens

Because cards still count after you sell them, you do not need to keep the players once a Set is graded.

The fastest route is to buy cheap cards on the transfer market, fill the cheapest Sets, grade them, then sell the cards back. The only real cost is the 5% sale tax plus any price movement while you hold them.

The cheapest routes to tokens right now are small club Sets, all of which already reach grade S or A on the current market: Frosinone, Costa Adeje Tenerife, Malaga CF, Birmingham City, Logroño United and the Starter Set. Filling those along with the other small club Sets gets you to around 500 tokens for roughly 60,000 coins, most of which comes back when you sell.

League Sets and big club Sets are the ones to avoid. LALIGA EA SPORTS is the worst value in the Gallery right now, with Heroes, Ligue 1, Arkema Première Ligue, London City Lionesses and the Bundesliga close behind. The 20 card big club Sets, Real Madrid included, pay nothing until grade B, and no cards released so far reach that grade.

500 tokens is enough for most of the store, but the top tier Hall of FUT cards cost 750, and getting there is harder since the extra 231 tokens only exist in the more expensive Sets. Grades are not locked in place either. As Campaign, TOTW and Hero cards release, Sets that pay nothing today start paying, and Sets you already graded can be regraded higher for free, though you only receive the difference rather than the full token amount again.

Best Hall of FUT players to buy with Gallery Tokens

The Gallery Token Store sells 21 Hall of FUT players across four price tiers, plus five league away kit picks at 100 tokens each.

At 750 tokens, Pato is the strongest overall card, with 90 pace and 85 shooting at striker alongside four star skills and weak foot. Hulk sits close behind and hits harder physically, rating highest if you play him at RM.

At 500 tokens, Doumbia comes within 0.4 of Pato’s rating for a third of the cost. David Luiz is the only centre back the store sells at this tier, so he is the pick if that is the position you need, even though his overall rating is the lowest of the six 500 token options. Richards is a strong alternative at right back.

At 400 tokens, Guarín is the best value in the entire store, an 87.4 rated CM with 88 physical and 85 shooting for a little over half of what Hulk costs. Florenzi is a solid second option at the same position.

At 300 tokens, McGeady brings five star skill moves at CAM, while Layún offers a five star weak foot at left back despite carrying the lowest rating in the store.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do cards still count toward Gallery Sets if I sell them?

Yes. Once a card has entered your club, it keeps counting toward Sets even after you sell it or use it in an SBC. Loan cards are the exception and do not count.

Can you buy tokens directly with real money or FC Points?

No. Champs Tokens come only from Champions performance, and Gallery Tokens come only from grading Sets, completing Objectives and Live Events. Neither can be purchased.

Can a Gallery Set be regraded later?

Yes. You can replace cards in a Set with better ones at any time and regrade it. You receive the difference in tokens rather than the full reward a second time.

Is it worth spending Champs Tokens on the Exclusive Celebration?

It is cosmetic only and does not affect gameplay, but at 15 tokens it is a low cost pickup if you already have spare tokens sitting unused after another purchase.
