How to Unlock the Quest

Unlike regular Special Research quests, Ghost in the Machine requires trainers to redeem a code to participate. The code, 0HY0UF0UNDM3, can be redeemed on the Pokemon Go Offer Redemption page. After logging into their Pokemon Go account, trainers can enter the code to unlock the quest in their game.

The Ghost in the Machine Special Research quest is straightforward but ties in with the theme of the Sinnoh Tour event. Trainers are tasked with catching 30 Pokemon originally discovered in the Sinnoh region. The reward for this task is 10 Rotom Candy.

The Reward

Upon completion of the task, trainers are rewarded with 479 Stardust, 479 XP, and a Rotom Encounter. This encounter is the first opportunity for trainers to catch Rotom in its normal form.

The Ghost in the Machine quest is a unique addition to Pokemon Go’s Special Research. By tying the quest to the Sinnoh Tour event and introducing a new Pokemon form, Niantic continues to provide fresh and engaging content for trainers. As trainers worldwide embark on this new quest, we look forward to seeing what other surprises Pokemon Go has in store.

Once you’ve successfully redeemed the code, you’ll be able to access the Ghost in the Machine quest within the game. This quest was discovered by trainers participating in the Los Angeles Sinnoh Tour event. Enjoy the adventure and the opportunity to catch Rotom’s normal form!

Remember, the world of Pokemon Go is always changing, so stay tuned for more updates and happy catching, trainers!
