Let’s Go See a Movie Anomaly Commission Guide in NTE (Neverness to Everness)

Let’s Go See a Movie is an Anomaly Commission in NTE: Neverness to Everness that sends players into the back corridors of a cinema to find and fight the Swallowtail boss. Completing it for the first time unlocks Swallowtail as a permanent world boss and hands out the Reality Refuge S-Class Arc for free, making it one of the highest-value commissions in the New Herland District. If you want to knock it out fast, here is everything you need to know.

How to Unlock Let’s Go See a Movie

Before you can track this commission, you need to unlock the New Herland District in Hethereau City by activating the signal tower in that area. Once the district is live, open the map, tap the Anomaly Commission icon in the bottom-right corner, and find Let’s Go See a Movie under the New Herland District section. Track it to place a quest marker on your map.

Let’s Go See a Movie Commission Location

Follow the quest marker to Kino Avenue (also referenced in some guides as Camelot Avenue). The destination is the front entrance of the Floe Cinema. Walk through the glass doors and step into the lobby.

From the lobby, take the grand staircase on the left side up to the second floor. At the top of the stairs, turn left immediately. You will see a large cardboard cutout of a girl in pink standing next to a red-haired cinema staff member.

Walk into the corridor directly behind the cardboard cutout and follow it to the end. At the far end, turn left into a short dead-end corridor. A single open door sits on your left side. Enter through it to find a projector running a black-and-white video on the far wall.

Interact with the projector using the Swallowtail prompt. This drops you directly into the boss arena.

How to Defeat the Swallowtail Boss in NTE

Swallowtail spends most of the fight airborne, switching between ranged projectile attacks and fast close-range strikes. The boss is weak to Anima damage, so characters like Nanally and Mint are strong picks here. That said, the fight rewards careful parrying over raw damage output, so even a suboptimal team can clear it cleanly once you learn the moveset.

Most of Swallowtail’s attacks flash a red warning before connecting, which gives you a reliable window to dodge. Watch for parry opportunities specifically, because landing a successful parry knocks the boss to the ground and opens a free damage window.

For Neverness to Everness combat tips and tricks that apply broadly across boss fights, that guide covers parry timing and dodge mechanics in detail.

Swallowtail Moveset

MoveDescription
Scythe SwingSwallowtail swings both arms in a scythe motion in front of its body. The first hit is parryable.
Tail ArcSwallowtail sweeps its tail in a wide arc and slams it into the ground in front of itself.
Pincer ThrustSwallowtail thrusts its front legs at the target twice, then slams both down into the ground. The third hit is parryable.
Blue BeamSwallowtail fires a blue light beam directly at the target.
Rainbow BallsSwallowtail spawns three colorful orbs around itself. After a short delay, the orbs become homing projectiles.
Underground DiveSwallowtail dives underground and resurfaces at a location marked by a grey vortex on the ground.

Mirror Realm Phase

Once you bring Swallowtail below 50% health, it dives underground and transitions into a Mirror Realm phase. The boss launches its attacks from inside this mirror dimension, but you can still hit it and parry or dodge everything it throws.

Nearly every attack in this phase is parryable. Prioritize well-timed counters rather than chasing damage, because parrying consistently here is what ends the phase fastest. After the mirror realm collapses, Swallowtail enters a prolonged Break-like state where it sits completely open to attacks. This is your main burst window, so use your strongest abilities here without holding back.
