The Sims 4 Fairy Cheats Guide: How to Get Fairy XP, Ranks, and Abilities Fast

The Sims 4: Enchanted by Nature sends players to Innisgreen, a whimsical new world where Sims can live as fairies, complete with hidden traits, ranked abilities, and two opposing paths of power. Reaching the top of the fairy progression tree takes a lot of grinding through fairy interactions, but cheats let players skip straight to the fun part. How to Enable Cheats in The Sims 4

Every cheat in this guide requires testing cheats to be active first. Without this step, most commands fail silently or don’t register at all.

How to Turn a Sim Into a Fairy

traits.equip_trait trait_OccultFairy_AllAges

The Sim becomes a fairy instantly. Running the same line with traits.remove_trait instead of traits.equip_trait turns them back into a regular Sim.

Without the console, the standard in-game route is to plant a Fairy Seedling, accept a potion from Mother Nature, and visit Moondrop Springs in Everdew within 24 hours. Sims can also be created as fairies directly from the Occult tab in Create-A-Sim without touching the console at all.

Fairy XP and Rank Cheats

Fairy Sims begin at the lowest rank, Faint, and climb through the ranks by earning Fairy XP from fairy interactions. Every rank grants Fairy Ability Points, and players need 23 points total to unlock every Fairy Ability currently in the game.

The cheat to set Fairy XP directly is:

stats.set_stat rankedStatistic_FairyOccult_FairyXP [number]

Replace [number] with the XP total desired. This command sets the value rather than adding to it, so entering 0 wipes a Sim’s progress back to Faint rank.

Fairy Rank XP Thresholds

Entering any of these codes jumps a Sim straight to that rank along with its associated Fairy Ability Points. Ability Points already earned stay locked in even if a Sim’s rank drops afterward, so testing different XP values carries no real risk.

Refunding Fairy Ability Points

No cheat directly adds or removes individual Ability Points, since they’re tied entirely to XP. To respec a Sim who has already spent points:

1. Summon Mother Nature.
2. Buy the Fairy Ability Refund Potion for 20 Fairy Dust.
3. Drink the potion to refund every spent Ability Point.

Points can then be redistributed toward a different build or path.

Harmonious and Discordant Fairy Trait Cheats

Fairies split into two hidden paths once they start earning Ability Points. Harmonious Fairies lean into nurturing plants, animals, and other Sims, while Discordant Fairies specialize in mischief and manipulating emotions. Both paths eventually unlock a reward trait, and both can be applied instantly through the console:

Happily Harmonious Trait:

traits.equip_trait trait_FairyStories_LightPath_LightPixie

Delightfully Discordant Trait:

traits.equip_trait trait_FairyStories_DarkPath_DarkPixie

Swap equip_trait for remove_trait on either line to take the trait back off later.

Other Fairy Trait Cheats

Every trait on this list can be removed the same way, by swapping equip_trait for remove_trait.

Apothecary and Natural Living Skill Cheats

Enchanted by Nature adds two brand new skills alongside the fairy content. Apothecary covers crafting elixirs and curing ailments, while Natural Living governs outdoor survival and self-sufficiency. Both skills cap at level 10.

Apothecary Skill:

stats.set_skill_level Major_Apothecary [X]

Natural Living Skill:

stats.set_skill_level statistic_Skill_NLS [X]

Replace [X] with any number from 1 to 10 to jump straight to that level. Hitting Apothecary level 2 unlocks the ability to forage ingredients straight off the ground, which speeds up elixir crafting considerably.

Naturopath Career Cheats

The Naturopath career is exclusive to this expansion and eventually branches into either Lifestyle Coach or Apothe-curist once a Sim climbs high enough.

Repeating the promote command climbs the ladder instantly without waiting through in-game work days. Switching branches after choosing one requires demoting back below the branch-selection level, then promoting again to trigger that choice a second time.

Building Fairy XP the Natural Way

Players who’d rather earn their fairy ranks without cheats have a few reliable options for building XP:

Throwing three Fairy Dance Parties at a Fairy Home completes the first stage of the Fairy Stories aspiration. Visiting the Mossveil Fairy Hub in Innisgreen at least three times pushes that aspiration further along. Enchanting three separate objects using Fairy Dust rounds out the remaining requirement.

Ailments and Emotional Overload

No cheats exist for adding or removing fairy-related ailments directly. Every cure and infliction runs through in-game abilities or potions instead. Death by Emotional Overload works the same way, with no direct console shortcut. It triggers when a fairy Sim uses Detect Emotion to find another Sim experiencing emotional overload, then repeatedly uses Absorb Emotion until that Sim hits Enraged, Hysterical, or Mortified, setting off the standard death-by-emotion chain.
