The “Switching the Supply” quest in ARC Raiders is a short but crucial mission that sends you beneath the Spaceport to reroute contaminated water. While it sounds simple, the tunnels’ layout and constant danger from rival raiders can make it a tense task if you don’t know where to go. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you finish it efficiently and claim your rewards.

After investigating water contamination in earlier quests, Celeste tasks you with restoring the clean water flow under the Spaceport. Your goal is to locate the underground tunnel system, find a red valve connected to yellow piping, and interact with it to switch the water supply.
You don’t need to extract any items afterward — the moment you turn the valve, the quest is complete.
Step 1: Travel to the Spaceport
Deploy into the Spaceport map, a busy battleground filled with roaming ARC units and other squads. Keep your loadout light — since you don’t need to extract with any loot, a free setup minimizes potential losses if you’re ambushed.

Step 2: Locate the Tunnel Entrance
The tunnel network lies beneath the Launch Towers at the center of the Spaceport. Look for a large hole in the ground where the surface has collapsed. This spot is easy to miss during combat, so scan for a wide, broken section of concrete near the tower base.
Descend carefully using the tilted debris to reach the tunnel floor.
Tip: The entrance near the Launch Towers puts you closest to the valve, saving time and reducing exposure to enemy patrols.
Step 3: Find the Valve in the Tunnels
Once inside, you don’t need to explore too deeply. Stay alert — visibility is low, and some drones patrol the area.

As you move along the right-hand wall, look for a yellow pipe running horizontally. On top of it sits the red valve you need.
Approach the valve and hold your interact key to turn it (Turn Valve). When the animation finishes, you’ll see the mission complete notification on your screen.
Step 4: Secure Your Exit
Even though the quest ends immediately after turning the valve, you can still choose to loot the underground section. The tunnels are a great spot for scavenging without attracting ARC aerial units. When ready, head back the same way you entered and find a nearby extraction point to safely return to Speranza.

Pro Tips for Players
- Avoid peak activity hours on the Spaceport map — other raiders often camp near the tunnel entrance.
- Stick to cover and use sound cues to detect nearby movement in the tunnels.
- Follow the piping system — large yellow pipes always lead toward the valve chamber.
- Bring a teammate to guard the entrance if you’re worried about ambushes.
- If you die after turning the valve, check your quest log — it often still counts as complete.
“Switching the Supply” isn’t just filler — it marks your first encounter with ARC Raiders’ subterranean environments and teaches you to navigate confined, high-risk spaces. Completing it also unlocks a valuable Warehouse Key, which becomes essential for looting restricted zones later in the game. Play Now!
