Activision may have revealed one of its biggest surprises for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Season 1 a little too early. An update to the official Call of Duty website briefly showed a holiday-themed version of the classic map Hijacked, titled Sleighjacked, before it was quietly removed — sparking excitement and speculation among fans.

According to reports from CharlieIntel and other reliable community sources, the Season 1 roadmap on the official site was updated with Sleighjacked listed among the upcoming multiplayer maps. The image stayed live for only a short time before Activision pulled it down, suggesting the reveal was premature.
This leak follows the ongoing marketing rollout for Black Ops 7, which has been teasing an extensive lineup of over 30 maps across launch and post-launch content. Fans immediately noticed the reference to Sleighjacked — a festive spin on the iconic luxury-yacht battlefield, Hijacked, first introduced in Black Ops II.
What “Sleighjacked” Likely Means
While Activision hasn’t commented officially, the leak strongly hints that Sleighjacked will bring a winter-holiday aesthetic to the familiar Hijacked layout. Previous Call of Duty entries have used similar festive re-skins, such as Shipment 1944’s snow-covered “Winter Shipment” and Holiday Nuketown.
If it follows the usual pattern, players can expect decorative lights, snow effects, and subtle layout adjustments to match the holiday theme — making it a playful seasonal refresh without altering the core map flow.
Season 1’s Expanding Map Roster
Aside from the Sleighjacked leak, the confirmed Season 1 lineup already includes returning favorites Standoff, Meltdown, and Nuketown 2025 (arriving November 20), alongside several new arenas like Fate, Utopia, and Odysseus. These additions continue Treyarch’s tradition of blending nostalgia with fresh battlegrounds for the multiplayer rotation.
Given Sleighjacked’s appearance on the roadmap, it’s safe to assume the map will debut sometime during the Season 1 update, possibly as part of a limited-time holiday event.

Developer Treyarch Studios has been gradually unveiling details about Black Ops 7 through developer talks and previews. Prestige Rewards and new Operator Skins are set to make a return, and the UI overhaul promises a more unified experience across Campaign, Zombies, and Multiplayer.
As of now, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is still slated for November 14, 2025, across PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. With the leak hinting at even more post-launch surprises, it seems Treyarch’s latest entry could live up to its tagline — “The Biggest Black Ops Ever.”
