LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight has 43 Challenges tied to two achievements and a steadily growing Batcave mural. Every challenge you complete adds a piece to that mural and pays out Studs on demand, with the full set adding up to 465,000 Studs total. Some challenges unlock naturally as you play through the story, while others require specific characters, gadget upgrades, or deliberate setups that are easy to miss.

This guide covers every challenge in the game, how to unlock the challenge board, and exactly how to complete each one.
How to Cash In Challenges at the Batcave
You can start earning challenges as early as the Prologue, but the redemption computer does not become available until Chapter 2.
Once Batman builds out the Batcave at the start of Chapter 2, head west past the Batmobile garage and look for a green computer overlooking a large blank wall panel. Interact with it to open the full challenge list. Any challenge marked as complete can be pressed X (PlayStation: Square) to cash in immediately for Studs.
Each challenge you redeem also fills in a section of the wall panel. Complete all 43 to reveal a full LEGO recreation of the Batman: The Animated Series set.

Tips for the Trickiest Challenges
Paranormal Investigator is the most commonly missed challenge in the game. Gentleman Ghost does not appear in any mission, and Gotham is a large open world. Head specifically to the northwest area of the Amusement Mile district, near a tree along the road in East End. Activate Photo Mode while facing him to register the shot.
Utility Belt is the most expensive challenge in the game. You need 168 WayneTech Cache Chips to purchase every Focus Ability upgrade. Track down caches throughout the open world and mission replays before attempting this. Once you have all upgrades, you can use each one during free roam crimes to tick them off one at a time.
Ninja demands 15 consecutive stealth takedowns with no detection at any point. The Chapter 1 Infiltration mission offers the cleanest setup because its enemy layout favors isolated takedowns. If you trigger an alert, restart the mission and try again rather than continuing from a compromised position.
Everyone’s a Critic trips up players who do not know about the timing window. After each standard hit, you need a brief pause before pressing attack again. This separates a standard combo hit from a Critical Hit. If you struggle with manual timing, unlock the skill that grants automatic criticals after a silent takedown and use that as your trigger.
The Floor is Lava requires 60 uninterrupted seconds of airborne gliding. The wind tunnels scattered across Gotham are essential here. Memorize two or three tunnel locations near each other before attempting, so you can chain between them without dropping altitude. Starting from a tall building like Wayne Tower gives you a strong initial glide window to work from.
Turbo needs a clean 30-second boost run with zero collisions. The bridge between Tricorner and Old Gotham South offers the straightest path in the game. Wait until no vehicles or enemies are on it before activating boost.
In Blackest Night and Tough Guy both require Dark Knight Mode, but you can switch the difficulty freely at any time in the settings. There is no penalty for changing it, so you can complete these two challenges and then switch back to standard difficulty for everything else.
