The board game, Horizon Forbidden West: Seeds of Rebellion, will launch on Kickstarter on November 21, 2023. It will act as a prequel to the video game.

The game will feature a narrative engine, a stealth system, and in-depth combat encounters. It will also be compatible with the models included in the Horizon Zero Dawn board game, released in 2020.
The game will allow players to choose a tribe and class for their hunter. They can embark on an adventure through the wilds, hunting machines, discovering and trading resources, and leveling up their skills. The game will also have a branching storyline, where players will have to make choices that will affect the outcome of the game and the fate of the world.
