Cruella is exclusive to the DLC, so you must purchase it before you can meet or recruit her.
2. Travel to Wishblossom Ranch
Start your adventure by riding the train from Stardust Port, which unlocks the DLC region and its questline.
3. Complete Early Wishblossom Ranch Story Quests
These quests introduce Snow White, open up new biomes, and prepare you for Cruella’s chapters.
You must complete:
- A Wishful Invitation
- Tales of a Broken Heart (Snow White unlocks at the end)
- Ghost Town
- Wheel Big Trouble
- Crystal Cavern: Wishing Alps
Once these are done, you’ll gain access to Glamour Gulch, Cruella’s biome.
4. Complete Cruella’s First Two Story Quests
Before her final unlock quest appears, you must finish:
- The Decay of Fashion
- The De Vil Crash
Finishing these automatically triggers her final quest, The Skunk Rebellion.
How To Unlock Cruella De Vil (Step-by-Step)
Once The Skunk Rebellion starts, you can begin the final chain that leads to recruiting her as a villager.
1. Retrieve the Seed Samples From Cruella’s Car
After speaking with Cruella, she hands you a key and sends you to her car trunk. Inside, you’ll find a Seed Samples bag. Return it to her to continue.
2. Speak With Snow White
Cruella sends you away, and Snow White explains that the local skunks are upset because Cruella’s fortress uses barking greyhound statues that scare them. To earn their trust, you’ll need to build a home for their leader.
3. Gather Materials for the Elegant Skunk House
All materials are located in Glamour Gulch. Harvest or mine the following:

4. Meet Professor Mouffette
After setting the house, head to the cave marked by skunk flags near the eastern side of the Runway River. Enter and speak with Professor Mouffette, the skunks’ leader, with Snow White accompanying you.
He wants to storm Cruella’s fortress but needs your help to disable its security.
5. Lower the Fortress Drawbridge
Follow Snow White to the fortress entrance. She gives you a lever handle—insert it on the right-hand wall panel and pull it to lower the drawbridge.
6. Disable the Barking Greyhound Statues
Inside the fortress, avoid the yellow detection circles around rotating mannequins. You must deactivate three barking greyhound statues:
- One on the left
- One on the right
- One directly ahead
Turning off the final statue triggers a cutscene where the skunks launch their rebellion.
7. Build Cruella’s Mansion
After the skunk uprising, Cruella arrives—furious, dramatic, and demanding. She refuses to hand over the Crystal Key until you build her a proper house.
Place the house plot in Glamour Gulch and pay 15,000 Star Coins to finish construction.
8. Welcome Cruella De Vil
Once her house is built, the welcome cutscene plays. Speak to her one final time to complete The Skunk Rebellion quest.
You officially unlock:
- Cruella De Vil as a villager
- Professor Mouffette as a companion
- The Crystal Key needed for further DLC progression
