How to Get Reaper Race in Sailor Piece (Soul Harvester Quest Guide)

The Reaper Race is one of the most powerful Secret-rarity races you can unlock in Sailor Piece, and it requires serious effort to obtain. It evolves directly from the Mythical Wraith race through a four-part questline assigned by the Soul Harvester NPC on Slayer Island. Every stat it grants pushes damage and survivability to the top of the meta, making it the go-to race for Sword builds in late-game content.

This guide covers every Soul Trial in full detail, including boss locations, farming strategies, and tips to complete the questline as efficiently as possible.

How to Get Reaper Race in Sailor Piece: Requirements

Before you interact with the Soul Harvester, confirm you meet these conditions:

• Wraith Race equipped (Mythical rarity, obtained through Race Rerolls)
• Sea 2 unlocked and Slayer Island accessible (requires level 12,750+)

Wraith drops from Race Rerolls, which you can earn from codes, chests, and boss loot. Mythical races sit at roughly a 0.5% chance per spin. To speed things up, open the Race Reroll skip settings and deselect every race except Wraith. This filters out every other outcome and increases the odds of landing Wraith faster. You are guaranteed a Mythical race every 750 rerolls if you have not received one yet, so use that pity system to your advantage.

If you have not reached Sea 2 yet, complete that questline before attempting any of the steps below.

How to Find the Soul Harvester NPC

Teleport to Slayer Island in Sea 2. Head up the slope toward the Strong Slayer enemies, then turn left. The Soul Harvester is a large NPC standing next to a building near the main spawn area.

Equip the Wraith race before interacting. Press E to speak with the NPC and accept the Soul Trial questline. Trial progress only tracks while Wraith is your active race, so never swap it out mid-session.

Recovery: If you lose the Reaper race after a reroll, return to the Soul Harvester with Wraith equipped and reclaim it without repeating any of the four trials.

Soul Trial 1: Defeat 1,500 NPCs

The first trial tasks you with defeating 1,500 enemies with Wraith equipped. Any enemy on any island counts toward the total, which makes this the most forgiving of the four trials.

Fastest method: Equip the Quake Fruit and teleport to Starter Island in Sea 2. Position yourself in the middle of a dense mob spawn, then toggle auto-skill on the C ability. Quake hits wide groups simultaneously, and the auto setting lets you passively accumulate kills without active input. Stay on Wraith until the counter reaches 1,500.

Any Sea 2 farming spot with dense mob spawns works equally well. The Infinite Tower also works if you prefer a more controlled environment with continuous enemy respawns.

Soul Trial 2: Collect the Three Boss Souls

The second trial requires collecting three rare souls from specific Sea 2 world bosses. Soul drop rates scale with your Luck stat, so switch to your best Luck build before farming each boss. Running a Luck relic or any active 2x Luck boost before each fight noticeably reduces the number of attempts needed.

Here are the three souls and where to farm them:

Warrior Soul: Spirit Warrior (Blue Planet)

Head to Blue Planet and farm basic mobs to stack Spirit Keys. Once you have enough keys, summon the Spirit Warrior boss and defeat it repeatedly until the Warrior Soul drops.

Ancient Soul: Cosmic Being (Punch Island)

The Cosmic Being spawns on Punch Island and requires Dominion Brands to summon, which drop from standard enemies on the island. World boss spawn rates received an increase in a recent update, so the Ancient Soul is more attainable than it used to be. Farm whichever boss on this island also drops other items you need to make the sessions more efficient.

Time Soul: The World (Bizarre Island)

The World boss spawns on Bizarre Island and also requires Dominion Brands to summon. Farm standard enemies on the island to collect brands, then spawn and defeat The World until the Time Soul registers.

You can collect the three souls in any order. The key rule is that the killing blow must land while Wraith is equipped, or the soul drop will not count toward trial progress.

Soul Trial 3: Defeat 10 Krakens

The third trial requires defeating 10 Krakens with Wraith equipped. Krakens are Sea Beasts that spawn only in the Open Sea, roughly 200 to 600 studs away from any Sea 2 island. Sailing too close to an island prevents them from appearing.

Two conditions must be active for Krakens to spawn:

1. You must have an active bounty on your account.
2. You must be in a private server with at least 500,000 bounty, or in a public server with the standard bounty threshold met.

Before engaging each spawn, confirm the Sea Beast is a Kraken and not a Sea Serpent. Both creatures share the same spawn mechanic and appear in the same water zones, but Sea Serpents do not count toward the 10 required kills. Check the name above the enemy before committing to the fight. Kill 10 confirmed Krakens to complete the trial.

Soul Trial 4: Win 10 Easy Minotaur Raids Without Dying

The fourth and final trial is the hardest one. You must complete 10 Easy Minotaur Raids with Wraith equipped, without dying in any of the 10 runs. A single death voids that run entirely and removes it from your trial count.

Preparation:

Farm at least 10 Raid Keys from standard Sea 2 enemies before entering. All enemies in Sea 2 drop Raid Keys, so farm extras as a buffer in case of unexpected wipes.

How to clear each Minotaur raid:

1. Speak to the Raid Portal NPC on Blue Planet and hand over one Raid Key to enter.
2. Select the Minotaur raid on Easy difficulty.
3. Deal 50% of the Minotaur’s total HP to begin the lever phase.
4. Locate and pull all five levers scattered around the arena to drop his shield.
5. Finish the remaining 50% of his HP to clear the run.

Bringing a party is allowed and highly recommended for survivability. Use your best damage build to shorten each fight and reduce exposure to the boss’s attacks. At Easy difficulty with solid gear, survival problems are rare, but stay attentive through all 10 runs since dying once forces you to start that run over.

How to Claim the Reaper Race

Once all four trials show completed, return to Slayer Island with Wraith still equipped and speak to the Soul Harvester again. The NPC consumes your Wraith race and adds Reaper directly to your race inventory. A confirmation popup appears, and the new race entry shows up with the full stat list.

If the dialogue does not advance, verify the following:

• Wraith is actively equipped, not just in your inventory.
• All four trial counters reached their targets. Open the Soul Harvester’s hint menu to check each one.
• Soul drops from Trial 2 were earned while Wraith was equipped on the killing blow. Drops that registered under a different race do not count.

Re-equip Wraith, finish any outstanding step, and the evolution completes on the next interaction.

Reaper Race Stats and Passives

Reaper delivers one of the strongest raw stat packages among all Secret races in Sailor Piece:
