Summer in Disney Dreamlight Valley is heating up with the return of the Summer Sizzle Event, running from July 2nd through July 22nd, 2025. This seasonal celebration invites players to forage colorful marshmallows, whip up campfire treats, and craft unique summer décor—all while earning some exclusive rewards for your avatar and your Valley.
Whether you’re returning from last year’s festivities (formerly called the “End of Summer Event”) or diving in for the first time, here’s everything you need to know to make the most of the Summer Sizzle Event in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
How to Start the Summer Sizzle Event
To kick off the event, check your in-game mailbox for a letter titled “The Summer Sizzle Event Begins!” Opening this mail unlocks several event-exclusive recipes, including:
- Roasted Marshmallows
- S’mores
- Bonfire Pit
- Vintage Cooler
- Sizzling BBQ Cooking Station (new for 2025)
- Summer Crafting Station (new for 2025)
Once you’ve learned these recipes, you’re ready to start gathering the ingredients scattered throughout your Valley.
The event officially runs from July 2nd at 12:00 a.m. UTC to July 22nd at 11:59 p.m. UTC.

Finding Pink and Blue Marshmallows
Pink Marshmallows
- Found on special marshmallow bushes in the Plaza.
- These bushes refresh every 30 minutes.
Blue Marshmallows
- Appear on the ground in the Plaza, Peaceful Meadow, and Dazzle Beach.
- Between 1 and 4 blue marshmallows spawn every 5 minutes, with a maximum of 12 visible across all three biomes at once.
Keep in mind there’s a cap of 12 blue marshmallows total across all three areas at once. Harvesting regularly ensures new ones can spawn.
In previous events, blue marshmallows also appeared in Forest of Valor and Glade of Trust. For 2025, the main areas remain the Plaza, Peaceful Meadow, and Dazzle Beach.
Summer Sizzle Recipes
Head to any cooking station once you’ve gathered enough marshmallows. Two festive desserts are central to this event:
Roasted Marshmallows
Ingredients:
- 2 Pink Marshmallows
- 2 Blue Marshmallows

S’mores

- 1 Pink Marshmallow
- 1 Blue Marshmallow

The Summer Crafting Station is also interactive, letting you organize your crafting projects for the season.
Village Tasks and Wearable Rewards
Two special Village Duties accompany the Summer Sizzle event, offering exclusive clothing items as rewards. Here’s how to complete them:
Share Some Sweetness
- Task: Gift 25 Roasted Marshmallows to villagers.
- Reward: Birding Top (wearable clothing item)
Savor Some Sweetness
- Task: Eat 25 S’mores.
- Reward: Hiking Backpack (wearable clothing item)
