Before you can challenge the Electric-type influencer Canari in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, you’ll first need to prove your knowledge of her by passing the Canari Quiz Whiz Contest. This three-round event is part of Main Mission 14: Reaching Rank E, and it mixes trivia, exploration, and a battle.

How to Start Canari’s Quiz Whiz Contest
You’ll gain access to the quiz during Main Mission 14 after defeating Naveen. Once the mission updates, meet Naveen near the Electrical Substation in Lumiose City’s Magenta District. He’ll tell you that the only way to enter the quiz is by using a password.

“Let’s” → “Go” → “DYN4M0!”
After giving the correct password to the guard, you’ll be allowed inside to join Canari’s live quiz event.
Round 1 – True or False Questions
The first challenge involves standing on a colored square to answer whether each statement is true or false
Green for True and Red for False.
Here are all the correct answers for Round 1:

Once you’ve answered all three correctly, you’ll move on to the next task.
Round 2 – Eelektross’ Favorite Dessert
In the second round, Canari will ask you to find and deliver Eelektross’ favorite dessert. Naveen will hint that it’s a Lumiose Galette, but you’ll quickly learn that she’s asking for a special version — the Super Lumiose Galette.
You can purchase the Super Lumiose Galette at Café Gallant in Magenta Sector 1. Bring it back to the substation to complete this round.
Round 3 – Battle Against Mani of DYN4M0
Before the final question, you’ll face Mani, a devoted Canari fan. His team specializes in Electric-types:

Final Question – Childhood Trivia
After your victory, Canari will ask one last question about her childhood:
“When I was a kid, I played my first games on a laptop. Who owned the laptop?”
Correct Answer: Your grandpa.
Answer correctly, and you’ll officially clear Canari’s Quiz Whiz Contest.
What Happens After the Quiz
Once you pass the quiz, you’ll earn the right to battle at Racine Construction, owned by Canari’s grandfather Tarragon. You’ll first battle Tarragon, who uses Ground-types like:
- Hippowdon
- Diggersby
- Mega Excadrill
After defeating him, you’ll finally face Canari herself, who specializes in Electric-types:
- Heliolisk
- Ampharos
- Stunfisk
- Eelektross (Mega form)
