♦ 15th edition of the joint military training between India and USA, Exercise Yudh Abhyas 2019 is to conducted at Joint Base Lewis Mc Chord, Washington, the USA from 05 to 18 September 2019

♦ On 3 Sep 2019, The Indian Air Force, IAF formally inducted eight Apache Attack helicopters (AH 64E) at Air Force Station Pathankot. Apache attack helicopters are the replacement for Mi-35 helicopters. These Apache Attack helicopters will be deployed in the Western regions of India
Note: IAF has signed a contract with The Boeing Company and US Government for 22 Apache Attack Helicopters. The first 8 helicopters have been delivered and rest to be delivered by March 2020

♦ One Day Joint India- New Developing Bank, NDB workshop on Enhancing NDB’s engagement with the India private and public sector was held in New Delhi
a) NDB is the first Multilateral Development Bank established by developing countries: Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa.
b) India is one of the founding members, holding a 20% stake in the Bank
c) NDB Bank is headquartered in Shanghai
d) New Developing Bank Organization
