Requirements Before You Start
Before you begin tracking Eclipse, make sure you meet these conditions:
- Unlock the map and ReroRero Phone Booths across the relevant districts. Teleporting directly to each location cuts travel time significantly.
- Set your in-game time to 8:00 AM and the weather to Sunny. Eclipse will not appear at any location unless both conditions are active. You can change the time and weather from the in-game settings menu.
All Eclipse Locations in NTE
Location 1: Bureau of Anomaly Control (Area M10)
Teleport to the ReroRero Phone Booth at the Bureau of Anomaly Control. After spawning, turn right and look toward the corner of the building. Eclipse stands there waiting. Interact with her to start the hidden quest and hear her first questions about human emotions.
After the dialogue ends, set your in-game time to the next day at 8:00 AM with Sunny weather, then speak with Eclipse again at this same spot before moving on.
Location 2: Hankaku Street (Northeast, Red Building Rooftop)
Head northeast of Hankaku Street. Climb to the top of the red building in the area. If Eclipse is not there when you arrive, pass the time forward to the next day at 8:00 AM with Sunny weather and check again. Talk with her and then proceed to the next location.
Alternatively, teleport near Eibon and walk toward the beach. Before crossing the train tracks, you will see a photo studio on your left. Climb the building and interact with Eclipse.
Location 3: Illusion Town (Gift Shop Near Wertheimer Tower)
Teleport to the Wertheimer Tower in Illusion Town. From there, head toward the nearby Security Office. Next to it, you will find a Gift Shop. You can also spot it easily by following the gift box icon on the map. Climb to the top of the Gift Shop building and speak with Eclipse.
Location 4: Hankaku Street (East Side, Near the Beach)
Return to Hankaku Street and walk east toward the beach. From the second location, cross the road and look for Eclipse near a staircase that leads down to the beach. Speak with her to continue the quest.
Location 5: Tikal Bridge (Near Bureau of Anomaly Control)
Head to the large Tikal Bridge that connects the main map to the Bureau of Anomaly Control. On the bridge, climb the rope on the side of the first beam. Near the top, glide across to the lower arch, then climb the walls up to the higher arch. Speak with Eclipse at this elevated position and convince her not to end the world during the dialogue sequence.
Location 6: Bureau of Anomaly Control (Final Conversation)
Return to the Bureau of Anomaly Control where you first met Eclipse. Speak with her one final time. After you finish all the dialogues, she rewards you with the Day Off S-Rank Arc.
How to Get the World Changer Achievement
After you receive the Day Off Arc, one more step remains to complete the Look of Eclipse questline and unlock the World Changer achievement.
- Travel to the Orichalcos Imaginist Tower.
- Find the Curious Kid NPC inside.
- The kid wants to witness a solar eclipse. Equip the Day Off Arc and use its Arc: Eclipse special ability to summon the Eclipse effect for 40 seconds.
